- Pastor Louie talks to listeners about God-inspired dreams and visions and the “thief” that comes to steal our dreams. In sharing about the life of Joseph, Pastor Louie points out that it is often through delay, betrayal, false accusation, being overlooked, jealousy, humiliation, exasperation, revenge, success, pain, separation, and comparison that the thief can successfully crush the dream God has for our life. However, it is faithfulness that kills the thief of dreams.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS //
1. What about Joseph’s story suggests that the realization of the dream God gives us may come in the “distance”?
2. What about Joseph’s dream seemed “dreamy”? What about the reality was not dreamy?
3. What about the story of Joseph suggests that it is never too late to “dream again”?
4. How was Joseph’s dream involving him but not about him?
5. Did Pastor Louie’s talk open your eye to any details you had previously not seen in the story of Joseph? What are those realizations?
6. Which element on the list of weapons that the thief uses caught your attention (Delay, Betrayal, etc.)? Which are being used on you today?
7. If faithfulness is what kills the thief of dreams, how do you gain faithfulness?
8. Do you have a dream for your life - something that seems like a God-inspired, God-glorifying state of existence for your life? In other words, is there something you have always sought to do - or be enabled to do - for the glory of God?
9. What is standing in the way of the dream you have for your life? If you are already living in the dream God has for your life, what were the unexpected things that preceded it?
10.If you feel stuck and you are unsure as to what God might be dreaming and envisioning for your life, allow the group to encourage you with what they see as a possibility for your life. Practically speaking, this looks like telling the people in the group where you see them being most impactful and God-glorifying with their story, gifts, and circumstances.

Wow! This message is indeed "dialing my number". 25 Years ago I had a dream that was confirmed by a prophetic word in a churh gathering that the LORD wants to give me my own home and my own bussiness. "Nothing" happened. The next thing that rattled my bones a few weeks ago was that at the age of 57, I caught my husband being unfaithfull the 2nd time and while I poured everything out to give him a bussiness and worked it to success over 18 years, I was left homeless and without income. I started to think that the Lord indeed had more mercy for my husband, who ridiculed me because of my faith. I stopped taking note of my dreams and suppressed it by drinking sleeping pills because my heart was just too broken. I battle to experience God's love for me. I believe this Word is indeed calling me to start trusting God's dream that He has put in me .... again ...... especially timewise now and the fact that I have no resources of my own to make that happen......it can only be a miracle that our Jesus will get all the glory for. Thank you for being the voice in my desert .....calling me ....
Amen. So funny to have you describe to a tee exactly what's going on in my life, today. I feel like God left this message. My son needs to hear this so he has a clear picture of what God wants from him and how his life will turn around for the good. God is such an awesome Father.

I love the story of Joseph. God had to break down his pride and bitterness. At the same time Joseph grew in favour and being humbled. Joseph kept his hope, but also had a soft spirit...God could form him. Ultimately Joseph forgives his brothers. Just absolutely amazing.

Just ask the dream from God, He will let you know...God is with you always
Where there is hope there is always a dream. Don't listen to the lies of the enemy. The enemy also have a dream for you and it is one of self doubt, discouragement, harm, self hate, low self esteem etc. God only have good positive dreams for us. Jesus love you so much that He died for you. Keep good faith if you feel negative speak the Word into your life and situation. It is not easy, but keep your eyes focused on the giver of life, and start dream again.
We are praying that God would give you hope in Him again!
