What else would you add to the list?
Floor mats. Makes cleaning way easier. Not a big noticed upgrade but very useful
Power inverter. I’ve used cheap ones and long as u don’t over load them they last
Sell the Chevy, get a Ford 😎
Don’t touch that ram mount!! Get a quadlock! Thousand percent more secure, and they have multiple mounts for different applications. The only drawback could be having to put a case on your phone, but I prefer the Quadlock over Ram any day!
@@__stopit__5259 The Trail Boss LT comes with really nice floor mats that have the Z71 logo on them... not sure about the Trail Boss custom.
First aid kit 100%!!! This and IFAC. Thanks for this suggestion, very few even talk about having this
Thank you for sharing.
No prob. Thanks for watching.
Great Video... That Step would be a game changer in our life; Thanks for sharing!
Glad you found it useful.
Thanks for the video! Picking up my Chevy tomorrow! Nice glock.
These were the most unnecessary truck accessories i have ever seen.
But to each their own.
Thank you so much for those videos brotha . I just got my self a 2021 Trail boss so all of this super helpful 👍🏽
Ayyye! Congrats on the truck. Glad you found the video helpful.
If you are going camping, that Trash Bag may be an invitation to unwanted critters!
I don’t use it in bear country that’s for sure. Usually only in the desert or beach camping’ areas.
For anybody wondering how good the ram mounts are, i had my phone mounted with the rubber band that comes with it when i was in a motorcycle accident where i went into a ditch, the phone never budged off of my handle bars even after they slapped the tank. 👍
Wow that’s impressive! 🥸
i’ve done 2 of your suggestions already broski, good looks
Glad to hear 🙌🏼
Sweet truck 👍 I just got a 23 1500 Duramax and I’m looking for a similar truck bed set up.
Look into the Quad Lock Motorcycle charging system for the phone. It can Mount with a RAM ball and works awesome. I have it in my patrol vehicle and off road all the time. It uses wireless charging so you just run the wire to the charger and it’s done.
Great video Halo Hikers.
Thanks 👊🏼
Bro that is an awesome truck. Thanks for the clips
Cool idea
I put bed lights in my truck. Best mod yet and only cost about $25. Some assembly required. I would rate it as a 4 on the mod difficulty list. 1 being replacing a windshield wiper and 10 being any heavy engine altering work.
Great video man and thanks for the review on the phone stand I was looking for something that would hold my phone and not fall off while I’m off-roading but now i will definitely go with that ram brand for sure Thank u
I would add skateboard tale to your step up bro. Good job.
I use the ram mount for work (LE Related) and love it. I need to buy another one for my pov 20 Silverado rst, love these new chevys!
nice EDC pak bruh!!
Thanks brotha!
Hey man, love your channel, keep it up brother. Question, i bought a 2021 Silverado 3.0 Duramax and would like to install a S&B Intake, but 2 shops here in Colorado are telling me "DONT DO IT". Apparently the Intake can blow up my engine and or turbo and cost could be in $10K, did you do a Intake and if so, have you had any issues with it? Any help would be appreciated.
1st Aid kit!! CPR training👍
By far the most important on the list!
“Always use protection” in all ambits on your live 👁👄👁

Nice rig man! Point of clarification, you don't need a license for that CB radio (or any CB for that matter). If you have a Ham radio, that's a different story and does require a license to broadcast. The FCC stopped issuing licenses for CB's decades ago so it falls to the "license by rule" that keeps things easy for the masses. Has to do with wattage limitations and protected channels. Those little CB's are about 4 watts so no worries unless you hook it up to an amplifier.
Oh I was under the impression you needed to pay for the license. This radio is 15 watts and has 8 high powered repeater channels in addition to the regular gmrs channels.
@@halohalohikers3571 it wouldn’t hurt to get a ham license. it’s cheap relative to the alternative if it broadcasts over 4 watts...
edit: i see that’s a GMRS radio so yes, you do need a license! good work man
Does he have a dash cover on his truck? If so anyone know where you can get it? It looks so nice!
I’m not super tall but I drive a lifted 1500, that hitch step would be perfect I didn’t already have a tonneau cover
Excellent! There you go!
Nice knife and pew pew.
🔫🔫🔫
Bear independent sells nice ifak
Favorite quote from this video “always use protection “ 😂
kk why need a licence to operate the 2 way radio its techniqly a CB radio with sub channels like any walkie talkie
What channels does the midland pick up? I'm doing my HAM right now, and I'm looking for something for in my truck. I'm a Rescue LT for my local volunteer fire department, so I have a portable radio I usually keep in my home and when we go out I keep it in my truck with my pager, but I also do wildland fire as well, and am looking for something to get frequencies while on wildland scenes since primarily I will take my personal truck to scenes if it's not something in my town. Our wildland department is a county and state wide department, so jumping a truck to scene sometimes isn't doable, which is why I went with a truck, so I can get to where I need to be for briefings, ect
GMRS Channels: 1-7 & 15-22, this would be a good combo with your HAM set up.
You only have to get a fcc license if your radio puts out more than 5 watts or 15 watts.
Hi, good video. How did you get the trash bag on your tailgate?
The straps are long enough to go all the way around. They just clip.
What's to keep that step from just flopping down and banging up and down while you're driving. It doesn't look like there is anything to actually hold it up when not in use so there's a really good chance it would flop down if you drive over a bump and then bounce up and down while your going down the road. Feels like a waste of money, especially since Chevy builds steps directly into the bumper.
I dont have one but a buddy does and its strong magnets that holds his up.
What is the wallet you have for your edc? And what brand is your edc knife?
Its called the Ascent Wallet by Treyvax 🍻
How did you run the midland antenna wire through the trucks firewall ?
czcams.com/video/g6Q-Ux34oho/video.html it was a pita.
Came back for the calves. 7:50
How did you get those patches to stick on your roof of the truck!?! I’ve been watching to do that with my truck!!!
Some with Velcro and some with sewing pins.
@@halohalohikers3571 thank you brother!!
How about a full LED upgrade???? I did my front turn signals and rear licenses plate light's for less than 100 bucks. I changed my taillights out for smoked red Recon LEDs so those don't count but I'm sure to upgraded the stock taillights bulbs would still be less than $100
I did the front turn signals, and the only thing left that isn’t LED now is the rear license plate. But I want to check with someone and see how the back up camera looks with the brighter LEDs, sometimes it’s already difficult to see with the halogen.
@@halohalohikers3571 For my Trail Boss, I put Diode Dynamic LEDs in my reverse and license plate lights, they light up everything, makes reversing at night a breeze.
@@halohalohikers3571 oh yeah its way brighter and lights up the back up cam very well. I have 5% tint all around so sometimes I still need to roll down the windows but other than that, its great dude
I just spent a $1000 dollars plus to be able to measure the EMF radiation in the trail boss and both meters went to extreme amount... If I never use or need wifi in the truck how can I turn off the wifi to limit the non stop radiation? If there is 1 person I would think could help me figure this out it would be you thanks! The dealership said don't worry about it and they wernt "allowed" to turn it off which is very weird to me. Any suggestions?
The whole truck is one giant circuit board. I just recently found out there’s no power steering fluid anymore, it’s all electronic now. I’m not sure why they aren’t allowed to turn off the wifi though? Maybe it has to do with the over the air software updates? I remember I had a check engine light on when my truck was brand new, and they sent me an update via WiFi that fixed it.
@@halohalohikers3571 Ok thanks and if you ever found out how maybe that could be a cool video for people to really appreciate and enjoy the outdoors in peace without constant EMF's wearing down your body.
Bro they let you carry around that heat In California? Lol
The places I camp are all BLM or National Forest areas that I can carry. But eventually would like to get a CCW for everywhere else.
Valve stem covers
what stems are you rocking?
Thin red line
Dashboard cover
great idea!
Did I hear it right? "Always use protection"?
She told me to never use protection.
Any mods for us 2A patriots when transporting firearms.
Did the patches just Velcro up in the liner?
velcro or sewing pins :D
Whats rack set up and tent you useing
Its the Putco Venture tec bed rack and the tent is an ikamper skycamp 2.0.
Get a bumper dumper
How did you attach those patches to the headliner?
Some Velcro and some with sewing needles!
Most hook and loop will attach to your headliner without any additions.
Is this guy a veteran?
What type of wallet do you have?
Trayvax Ascent
Got more money than sense lol
Not hating or anything like that but why do people use phone mounts in 2020 ?
Maybe they stream music from their phone and want to use the phone to select songs or perhaps they have a favorite app that they use that doesn't work well with Android or Apple Auto.
Some of us don't have cars with fancy radios. In my wife's buick rendezvous it has the stock radio. we use a fm transmitter and run pandora on trips
7:47, why wouldn't you just use your tailgate?
Once I saw the ballerina / non-man bun & California license plate....uh No!!
Forreal 😂
That’s not ANY first aid kit. It’s an ‘MURICAN first aid kit!! Always that flag.... everywhere. Like you guys forgot where you live or something. Strange...
Maybe he just like where he lives more than others like where they live...
