With the new GTA 5 Update (Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC), Rockstar has introduced something we haven't seen before. This GTA 5 Online update feature some new cop cars but the new police cars that came with the Bottom Dollar Bounties Update presented a problem you might have later. You can see this for yourself in GTA Online if you want to grab one of those new cars

Cars were cheap back in the day. It all started going downhill when they released the DLC “ill gotten gains” which is named that because a bunch of people got their money from cheating so they started jacking up the prices.

@@LosDelphines duped cars only sell for half the price of the upgrades you put on them, this is why the arena wars cars sell for so much money, they have a lot of expensive upgrades that you can put on the car. These cop cars don’t have many expensive upgrades so a duped one wouldn’t sell for much money anyway

You can spawn your favorite car or oprresssor MK2 with your van. As long as the van doesn’t get blown up or sent back to the garage the mission will actually teleport your van to your location the end when you need it. But you will need to drive it back to the office.
It's a bounty hunting business not cop business
You can drive to the criminal in your cop car but you can only take them back to the business in the bail enforcement van.
Don’t see that they should be charging 5 million for one. That’s stupid money. And trust me, unlike my real life, money is no issue for me in GTA, like many others, but I simply cannot justify paying 5 million for a police cruiser. Even in real life, a top spec police cruiser is only about $250k.
It’s so much extra, I can buy 2-3 new money making methods in free roam if I’m new… or a single car that’s good for role play.

Yeah. R* is one of the greedy companies. They try to force people to buy shark cards by putting insane prices on items and making payouts mediocre for the time involved.
Just because a cop car is 5 mil to buy, doesn't mean you have to buy one, if something is too expensive for what it is, just don't buy it, but don't blame Rockstar for doing it, because plenty of people buy stuff just cause they can, so why not make some prices outrageous lol, this game is 11 years old and still going strong, and it's not because it sucks lmao, it's one of, if not the best game ever made. 11 years....that's all I can say 😂 and who knows how much longer, with them still adding new content, keeping the game fresh and alive, I can't fault Rockstar for milking this cash cow for as long as they can, as long as people still keep playing it, we are the reason GTA 6 is taking forever to get released, when people do finally start getting tired of GTA 5, that's when RS will finally get around to releasing the next one. And by the way, I haven't been playing nearly as much as I used to, but it's not because I hate the game, just taking a break for a bit, will be back on there soon and having just as much fun with friends as I used to back when it came out, maybe most people that hate on the game do it because they have no one to enjoy it with, and to say it's boring, well, to me that just says they lack imagination 😂 cause if you can think of it, you can do it, that's the appeal of it for me, having fun with friends or even just random people, seeing what happens, and trying new things.

We'll, I've made something like 665 mil, and had fun the whole time doing it, maybe it's your strategy for making money that needs to change, cause I find it very easy to make money in this game, and that's mostly just messing around in freemode, selling cars at the mod shop, doing freemode event, ceo/mc work with friends or even randoms, any payout is worth taking no matter how big or small, it all adds up, that's the most important thing. Forget about trying to only do the big million dollar jobs, and just do whatever you can to make that money, before long you'll be loaded and buying everything and anything you want, been on the same account since 2015 and loved every minute of it 😂. And yes I have all kinds of businesses that I did jobs on and made money, but I shut them all down and just do the freemode stuff now, makes me more then enough money, hell, I even have almost 3 mil in casino chips which I think of as my savings account lmao, even if I spent all the 25 mil or so I have in the bank haha

But the truth is that you're confused. You're probably thinking about the Impaler Cruiser, and those other cop cars before it. Those can be sold. On drop, these new police cars explicitly state in their vehicle's description on the warstock website that they cannot be sold. That doesn't include the Police cars that were added in the Chop Shop update, only the ones that were added in the Bottom Dollar Bounties update

I wish they didn't take that feature away..... I don't need the cash so I always helped others make money, it's alot of fun and rewarding, to know I'm making it less toxic for new players, especially being a rank 1198 😂, they can see not every high level is just there to be an asshole and ruin everyone else's experience on the game

I just wanted police cars, so I bought the stanier cruiser and the gauntlet interceptor, my friends wanted them but didn't want them too bad so I got them to get the unmarked one atleast

Contrary to popular belief, a 2008 Dodge Charger SRT fitted with a computer, spotlights, sirens, and bullbars, will not set anyone back 5 million dollars. It should only cost maybe $40,000 for the car and then maybe like an extra $2500 for the police necessities.

This is getting ridiculous. For half of these cars, you need to complete special missions from the latest dlc AS A LEADER so you have to buy a property that is about another mil. That means that a ghetto ass Durango is worth the cheapest super yacht.

This is why a $50 mod menu is worth it in every way. Nobody’s forcing the menu user to mass grief the lobby, those are just the little Timmys and the rejects.
I used a menu a while back... in INVITE ONLY. GTA Online has one of the most toxic communities that I want nothing to do with even if I could grief them with a mod menu, why bother? I just wanted it so I could add money for myself and my friends so we could just actually play the game instead of doing stupid tedious heist grinding.

Not too sure about the newer police cars, but I can confirm that the Gauntlet Interceptor can be sold and you will get money from it. I did that a week or two ago so unless they patched it, it works. Just something to be aware of.
Resell prices have been crazy lately. The raju sells for like 400,000, compared to the 4,000,000 you have to pay for it
At least they let you know on the page before you buy it. That's more than most businesses IRL do.

Start your businesses, make money from your businesses, then you can own just about anything. You can own just about anything and as much unnecessary stuff as you want. If someone asks me what is unnecessarily expensive, it is the most expensive yacht. You don't earn much for what it's worth. But it's a fun thing. Buy your casino penthouse and buy a garage, cinema, spa, extra room, office, and your own poker game. Unnecessary and expensive, but a fun thing. As long as you play and make money from your businesses, you can buy anything and waste your millions on unnecessary things. A police car for example. You can afford that if you feel like driving around with one. But I take that warning with a grain of salt. I probably want to drive around with a few police cars. Unnecessarily extravagant because I have made money.
$5M for a police vehicle, yet a jet costs around the same thing. Go figure with Rockstar.

I don't have a problem with it. I work Mon - friday and usually don't even get on the game till around 9pm before bed. Yeah, it might take 3-4 days, but its doable. The simply solution is to just not buy the car. I got the gautlet interceptor and thats the only cop car I wanted.

It sells for 0 because people will dupe them like they did with the arena war issi, obviously rockstar tried to stop that with the sell amount halving each time you sell a car but people would still sell a few cars per day. So to combat this from happening I'm guessing they set it to 0 to stop people from Duping them and making money that way
