Can't believe recap left it on a cliffhanger. So from wiki, God decided to help, but because they worry he will mess things up sent God on meaningless tasks, meanwhile they focused on doing things to help. Which in the end was unnecessary as the couple naturally overcome their shyness and kissed each other, thus stopping the end of the world. Gotta say, the last episode of this season was weak. Very interesting show though, 4 seasons, each different premise but with same actors.

I watched the pilot of this when I used to take online surveys for money (online surveys are NOT worth the time by the way, a part-time minimum wage job is luxurious in comparison to THAT. One time I did it for 18 hours straight, and managed to make $8 maybe, stocking shelves or making coffee pays WAY MORE THAN THAT).
I immediately recognized this from 5 or 6 years ago though, just from watching the pilot in a paid survey.

The least believable part of the movie is the surgeon that has time to play in a band. Or the musician that has time to be a surgeon.

Gods played puppet master, meddling but micromanaging. Couple waltzed into oblivion, hand in hand, no divine nudge needed. Season finale fumbled, yet four acts, four worlds, same captivating cast-curious, no?

It's not like he's been doing it for thousands of years and she just got transferred from "dirt" because nobody could stand her there so they sent her to the one place where nobody else has bothered with for thousands of years. I thought it's a comedy until the ending...
The ending is different I’ve seen this show. After not being able to turn off the countdown they cause a number of natural disasters to push them together to talk and the two actually kiss at the very last second. So Earth is saved but due to the angels intervention many natural disasters; tornadoes, oil spills, etc, happen making Earth a much worse place to live
