Quik Trip is down here in Texas also. So far, the ones I've seen, have popped up at interstate exits.
Rumor has it that the motel owner was offered 15K for front neon sign which they declined. I suppose it was smart to take the money, and run during the start of COVID which put a damper on lots of businesses. Unfortunate, but it is what it is.
