    The water measured at 1593 Which Is Not good. The meter DID NOT read 1.5; it read 1593 (One thousand Five Hundred Ninety Three)ppm. Which is insanely high. Regular tap water should not be that high, nor will regular tap water read 1.5 (One point Five) that's insanely low and usually requires a reverse osmosis water filtration system. Tap water should be around 80ppm - 300ppm; is low but possible, my tap water is around 180-ppm200ppm. My Reverse Osmosis Filtration Water is at about 20ppm. Your device needs some recalibration

      @chihanecreativetechno7604  Před 3 lety

      hi for this devise it the instruction guide says this devise has an automatic calibration feature .but only on ppm wich u cant calibrate. EC yes .the calibration prosess is quite simple what you need to do is buy the 1413 solution put 250 ml in a glass and put ur meter in -you go on ec mode -you press the cal button for 3 to 5 second and hold it in once you have done that the reading start to flash -press the cal button again with up arrow to increase the value one step at the time until it flash now u go up once at the time or press and hold the button and it will go up continously until u get 1413 then release , leave it to flash once it stop flashing that it its now calibrated .press mode button you will have 704 ppm .now ur device is calibrated .hope this will help u pleasr let me know .regards

      The aliexpress units have the battery in it if it is missing it was stolen by your customs inspection service, they are thieves and do this often.

    So TDS, total dissolved solids, output is in PPM?
    And EC is a an extra feature of the device, Electric Conductivity?

    You are probably confusing the water glasses; that can't be right.

    How can 1593 ppm be clean.. anything above 200 ain’t good for human consumption

  • @vietkieuvuongquocanhhoicaca

    sorry I dont understand why it showed 1593 in a Tap Water and you said it is just over 1.5 and it is good? :(
    meanwhile in the list it gives different figure
    My fish tank water shows up between 400 to 750 ppm.
    Do you think it is okay ? I have tried tap water (that everyone can drink straightaway) and it still show around 300 . I am in London so I believe water quality is good but dont know why it show 300 to 350ppm

      hi sorry it took me one day to answer u
      i said just over 1.5 was just trying to say that its good water because it didnt reach 300 mmp .if ur fish tank shows between 400 and 750 that is not good .and it could be fir ur water or ur tds devise
      try with different devise .hope this could help and please let me know any update .thanks

      @@chihanecreativetechno7604 Your meter showed 1593ppm that;s crazy high & 1.5 would be way too low. Your device needs recalibration, even the chart you used tells you those numbers are of out range

    • @Hampshire87
      @Hampshire87 Před rokem +3

      Init 1593 does not mean 150 (1.5).. this has got me confused

    Sorry, but, you mentioned a couple of times that the water was good quality. This could be false since the meter you are using does not prove the quality of water is good. A TDS/EC meter is not for testing if water quality is good. For example, the rain water could have been contaminated by stuff in the air or by whatever collected the rain water. The contamination could be something that is not dissolved in water, therefore, the meter would not read it. Although, you may be able to come to a conclusion that the water is of bad quality with a high TDS reading such as the salt water. I just don't want more people being misinformed because there is already a lot of misinformation out there regarding this subject, unfortunately.
