It doesn't surprise me you were once a gallery gal; it shows.
My dad was an artist from the 60's thru 80's and all his friends (who are world famous) - were my childhood idols; Deikenborn, Bengston, Graham, Ken Price, John Altoon, Ed Rusha, and more. How I wish I had kept some of their pieces. He rented a Charles Eames beachhouse in Santa Monica, back in the day...I'm 70 now but your house reminds me of the past in the best way.

Ahh what an experience for you! My husband and I both love Ruscha and I was so excited to have some of his works in my last show. I do miss my gallery days and wonder if I'll ever go back. I mean, I have the eclectic wardrobe for it! Haha!

lol...we did the same. Worst house on a great street. We have a 1962 ranch, with blue/pink bathrooms (we kept) but the kitchen made me weep so it got an entire re-do. LOVE your beautiful space! That sliding door is amazing! (original!!!???) and the entryway stone work.
our kitchen was SO bad, like SO bad. I went at it with the sledgehammer at 7 months pregnant because i couldn't wait to update it! haha. yes the sliding glass door is original to the house!

it's so easy to add small doses of maximalism especially with rugs, color/wallpaper or artwork!

Lovely home! The brass and lucite combo is 👌🏻 You’ve got such a stylish perfect home. If you’re willing I’d love to see your kids’room(s). My baby is 8 months now andI wish I could make his bedroom a vintage haven but his dad is more of a contemporary guy. Any inspo would be appreciated ❤️

By the way.. bought a second hand Celine vintage bag following your bag collection video, I was planning to for a few months now but the last video was sooooo helpful with picking up the style (specifically, adding a strap to modernize a classic - such a good idea!)
