    My 3rd grade class loves, loves, LOVES this game! It's great because everyone gets a turn to kick & nobody is waiting around for too long. Thank you for another awesome game!

    I am going to try this game. Rule Additions: Individuals could keep track of how many times they score. They could just write their name on the white board if you have one in your gym and whoever has the most points wins. You could get a chance to go back to the kicking team, if you get someone out.

    So, I am guessing this is a scoreless game then since there aren't two designated teams?

    So how does the game end?? I am guessing you don't switch sides after 3 Outs?....Do you play until there is only 1 Kicker?

    Are you talking about using a normal baseball and bat when your talking in this video? Or another ball? I guess you can use alot of options in this game, throw tennisball, freesbee, kick out a soccerball, rugbyball and more.

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames Před 2 lety +1

      For the ‘kickball’ version, best would be a rubber ball the size of a soccer ball (we call them Playground Balls). But you’re right, you could use a variety of different balls, including baseball bat/ball if you played the baseball version, etc)

    Thank you so much for your videos and ideas. Quick question about this game. What do you do about stealing bases, etc, or what if someone is on second while the kicker kicks, the person on 2nd runs to third but the kicker gets out (by one of the ways described), does the person on 2nd/ran to 3rd, just return to second?.

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames Před 8 měsíci

      You’re welcome! When I play all types of kickball I don’t allow stealing bases. As for your other question, I usually use the rule where when the kicker is out from a popfly catch, the advancing runners must try to return to the base they were running from, or they could get out too, if the ball is sent to the base they ran from before they get back. But it’s totally up to you how you want to play it!

    So what happen if you have two left on base and one left to kick and that kicker gets out?

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames Před 2 lety +2

      Good question. I would let the two left on base get a free pass to home, and continue from there.
      That, or end the round with the two on base both as winners.

      Maybe you can play the game with just two bases but with the same field layout. That way, when there are two kickers left, with one on base and the other to kick, if the kicker gets out then the one on base is the "survivor"....

  • @taurusrush420
    @taurusrush420 Před 2 lety

    So... you start with one person in the field? Just the teacher?

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames Před 2 lety +3

      Yes. And if teacher is out of shape, get in shape :p Alternatively you could start with one of the stronger students as the sole fielder. I don't think it takes long before others start joining the fielding team...
