I got the nothing phone 1
I'd still chose Nothing over Pixel and I think it is worth much more and has much better quality overall but here are the things that I like more about the pixel
a camera bar that protects cameras and is slightly better than the nothing
Nothing phone 1 has already amazing cameras and it gets better with each update but pixel has more software features and capabilities, I like nothing when taking pictures but pixel for videos
I like how Pixel has a better IP rating
and I don't mind the storage speed and older chip only thing I like about pixels is, AI features like un-blur photos and live transcription for audio recording and voice keyboard
I think nothing two will fix the camera so it would be either better or equal to pixel, I hope it gets better IP ratings, and it is confirmed to have a much better chip (snap 8 gen 1+)
I will only miss pixel exclusive features

Nothing brand has to get their weight up with more 5G bands for USA compatibility (missing major AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon 5G bands).

@@blitzfn929 I just got it yesterday. It's an amazing phone. The 778g chipset is really really good. It might not feel that good if you're switching from a phone having higher chipset than 778g.
Only newer chips perform better than this otherwise the older chips having big numbers actually work worst.

Im a pixel owner , but im more intrigued by the nothing phone one . My next purchase might be the nothing phone 2. Im not bothered about the cameras . I hooe nothing phone takes off and gives the likes of Google and Samsung a bit of stiff competition

When you are comparing the cameras, it says in the video that it's the google pixel 6a and not the 7a. Is this an error in the video or did you actually use the 6a for the camera tests?

Hello I have a question about these 2 phones because I am considering both of them, it would be great if you could help out.
I am currently using Galaxy A52s 5G for 1 year and I am someone with a budget around the mid range are like Pixel 7a, Nothing Phone 1, Galaxy A54 etc. And I am from Europe if that adds anything.
The most important things to me in a phone are the software-clean, easy to use and not much bloatware. Performance for basic games and day to day media. Camera and Battery are also very important.
I am not to picky with the build, design or screen really, I don't mind a hole punch or some bigger bezels and it doesn't have to be a big resolution or 120hz. I can do with 1080p 90hz just fine. I also don't really need much storage 128gb is enough for me.
If someone has a suggestion please comment because I am having a tough time deciding between the Pixel 7a and Nothing Phone 1 also the prices for them in my country are 470euro/$515 for the Pixel 7a and 390euro/$430 for the Nothing Phone 1. I think these are the correct price conversions, and I want to add that price difference is about half of my house bills for the month it's a pretty decent amount. But I have no problem going for either of them I just want to know the better value and are there other mid range phones worth considering at this price point?

@@abhishekdarjee7069 Slight exaggeration 😂It's a known issue and is why Google are rolling out software updates that should fix the problem, which doesn't even seem to be effecting every device.
I own a Nothing Phone 1 and this phone is really a good midrange. Snapdragon 778G+ will last long. Nothing promise 3 years OS Updates and 4 Years Security Updates when it came out in July.
Of course, Pixel 7a is newer but for me Charging Speed, and Battery Life are better on Nothing Phone 1 and i love the design.
It's a tough choice. Take your Time because there will be special offers for Pixel 7a. Good Luck.
