If you are new here, my name is Ami (he/him) and I am a Black, queer trans expat and world traveler. My journey first started when I was 23 and I listened to my intuition and left the US. Now 25, I have come out as queer and explored my sexuality, gender identity, and expression lived in 5 countries in Latin America and learned Spanish. I am now sharing my experience and journey here on this channel, creating a closer & more personal space in my community corner, and I offer consultations to help others on their journeys.

Ami, I am in tears and I wish I could give you a hug. I am sitting at my corporate job right now damn near close to a panic attack because I am not sure how much longer I can continue living this life here. Grind culture breaks us down and I too learned from being in the tropics for a year and a half straight that the sun, the organic food, the water, all healed me. I lost so much weight...and it was always hard for me to lose weight. I've been in the stars for a year straight for the first time in four years and I've gained all the weight I've kept off for years back on! It's totally environmental and my boy says...if you want to live long...move to the tropics. I live in Honduras but finances have kept me in the states for longer than expected.

Thats so real, it is truly amazing what happens and what is possible when we have our basic needs met and we have access to quality foods and less stress, etc. I love that you found that peace. I hope you are able to make it back to Honduras or anywhere you love.
