Saw these guys in Vegas in March with a couple of friends and absolutely loved it. I also came to a conclusion that really, really surprised me: I think Kelly Keagy is the best drummer I've ever seen live. It's not because he could solo or go pyro like a Keith Moon or John Bonham (he didn't even try to play a solo); it was because he drove the music just perfectly. In fact, with all of the lineup, it was always about the music and not about individual performances. Hope that makes sense. Hats off to you, Kelly.
I 100% agree! Saw them a few years ago in Vegas and they had the energy on 20 yr olds. Acted like they loved every minute. And they were fantastic. I am a vocalist and look hard when bands are performing to catch these things. Now the boys can’t quite sing with same strength as they used to buy hey...they have been doing it for 75% of their lives.

Jeff was considered 2nd in the band, but he's tops in my book. The man created 8 finger tapping AND he has a very fluid style AND his note/melody selection is superb AND his vibrato is like butter AND he is quicker than most think because he picks more than he legatos. But he is 2nd because that's how most view it.
I love Night Ranger and their music with everything in me, but when Kelly started wearing the Flashdancer sweatshirts, gotta admit, I lost a bit of respect. Dude's got amazing pipes and skills, but dang, who dressed him back then? Sister Christian?

Great great music. They are my youth. The song remembers when in so many of their tunes. Listening to their music 35 years later is a gift.
