    Your review was one of the several I used before deciding to get it. What I really miss is that all of the reviews slips testing the back-up camera that comes in the wireless version. I will install it and test it myself soon tho, but I really miss that you guys doing the reviews also test it :)

    Tempted to try one of these but wish I could buy it from a US based vendor. Have only seen it for sale on sites outside the US. Did see on Amazon but wasn't sure the wireless one was the same as what you review and what I saw elsewhere.
    Nice review and thanks for pointing out you can route the audio over the "direct" connection (which is your phone Bluetooth to car) instead of AUX or FM.
    Wonder how it handles phone calls - does it use the car's mic, the unit's mic or my iPhone's mic. Speakers too. Ideally it would let the car handle that like it does, and just give you control over the call on the screen.

    I love the video and love the product but I have to agree with other people here in the comments with the price point off 200-400$ USD You honestly might as well go and buy a new radio and backup camera with better quality for that price and if you don't know how to install it there and lots of guides on CZcams to show you how and if not best buy offers free installs on radios and its like 100$ to have them install a back up cam and to buy one you can find good ones for about $80 usd for a back up and a radio for about $200 on the low end side and a good one for about $300-400 USD. But I will say if the product was cheaper it would for sure be a wonderful option

    Hey Marion, I just bought this and have a couple of questions.
    1) Is there a way or setting to power off the unit so that you don’t have to unplug the power cord at the screen or cigarette lighter end. I’m worried about forgetting to do it and getting a flat car battery!
    2) Other than detaching the suction cup stand off the windscreen along with the attached screen is there easier way of removing it to hide it when away from the car. It’s very hard to easily remove the back of the screen from the stand?
    3) I’m using my car’s built in Bluetooth to play music through the car speakers, but when using the navigation it plays through the speaker of the unit and not through my car speakers any tips?
    Thanks.

    • @MarionSerrano
      @MarionSerrano  Před 3 lety

      Hi James.Here's some answers. Hope they help!
      1. As soon as your car electronics are off, the device turns off and will not be able to suck in battery. So no need to worry about that.
      2. You can maybe turn the ball joint loose and pull it out.
      3. For this, you can use the aux or FM transmitter to play audio and navigation together in your car speaker. Don't forget to set your phone to play in CarPlay and your car to the right radio frequency or aux input.

      @@zachb1598 Overall I’m pretty happy with it. I have a IPhone so the CarPlay ability is a great addition. I would say there are a couple of quirks though, this may be related to my car though. For instance when I leave my car I have to remember to unplug it from the 12v socket or I would get a flat battery! My car also has Bluetooth which can cause a conflict with the units own Bluetooth. So sometimes I have to manually switch it over to CarPlay. I use an Aux cable as I find it sounds best with that. If I was to use the Cars Bluetooth only I find that sound say for a navigation app will only play through the unit speaker and not the car speaker? Some of these issues may be user error or settings I haven’t found but something to be aware about I guess.
