Twin Cam FXR Build, part 5 (Nearly ready to fire)

- Just a quick one to give an update on whats goin on. Really not far of completing this thing and seeing if it fires up.
Tried a new camera setup (rather than my phone) so will see what the quality is like.
Anything you want more details on, let me know.

Super clean and nice build, great attention to detail. I’m trying to bring my 83 Shovelhead FXR back to decent look and reliable, but I don’t seem to have the time or patience to do it all at once, I keep taking it down a few parts at a time then riding it again. Really want t take it down to the frame, powder coat it, then put it all back clean and with as many new fasteners and parts I can.
Yeah really just depends where u want to end up and how much effort! Down to the frame on that bike means new everything, bearings, seals etc so that adds the cost up. I'd you had everything u needed available you could do if without too much downtime!
Loving this build and awesome to see another high end FXR build here in Australia 💪

Cheers mate! They're a great bike, but experience vary so much with age/condition/expectations etc. Theyre definitely not common here, but there's stacks of NICE FXR's when you start to know the main players and who's building/built what.
how you gunna do mid controls with the touring style transmissions cover? i had an issue with the clutch cable shooting through the side instead of the bottom, so the brake pedal couldnt seat all the way to the mount
