2022 Moccasin Lake Open Am Weekend Virtual Players Meeting

The 2022 Moccasin Lake Open AM Weekend Presented by the Tampa Bay Disc Sports Club
The 2022 MLO AM Weekend is your chance to take on Clearwater’s premier disc golf course. Taking place the weekend of November 5th and 6th, the MLO utilizes Cliff Stephens’ iconic 24 hole layout. The tournament is a 2-round tee time tournament. The field size will be limited to 170 players.
The event is scheduled as follows:
11/4- 1pm to 5pm Early Check-in at Cliff Stephens Disc Golf Course
11/5- Check in opens 7:15am-8:15am
11/5- Round 1 Start 8:30 am, continues in 10-minute intervals through 2:30pm
11/6- Round 2 Start 8:30 am
Our virtual players meeting will be prerecorded and emailed to all players on the Thursday before the tournament 11/3. Tee assignments will be posted Thursday night as well, please however remember to check again on Friday in the event of any changes due to last minute drops.
Due to limited parking at the course, parking will be directed by our event staff. Once parking fills at the designated areas, players are to park alongside Park Trail Lane. Please be cautious in parking to not block in any vehicles or park in any restricted areas.
Check in for all players will start on Friday at 1pm at Cliff Stephens. If you have a chance to swing by on Friday, come on out, grab your players pack and check in early. Check in resumes Saturday morning, please check in after arriving to the park before your round.
Scoring for this tournament will exclusively be done through PDGA live scoring. The event code is MLOAM. We will provide you with this event code at tournament central. Two players on each card are encouraged to keep score with live scoring in order to catch any possible discrepancies in real time. We will show you how to get it all set up if you have any questions.
There will be no in person players meeting for this tournament, please proceed to your starting hole prior to tee off.
Play begins Saturday morning at 8:30. This tournament will be utilizing a tee time format, meaning all players will be assigned a tee time for each round.
Course rules will be displayed for each hole on the PDGA live scoring website, they will also be attached to the email sent out to all players Thursday and they will be described in detail in our virtual players meeting.
The final round on Sunday will begin at 8:30 am. There is no need to check in for your Sunday round. After your round on Sunday we will be distributing trophies and payout, as divisions finish. Please stick around to collect your trophies, payout, and raffle tickets. Payout for AMs will be provided via club merchandise.
Our raffle will be held on the Monday night following the tournament. The raffle will be stream live on the Tampa Bay Disc Sports Club Facebook page. We will contact all raffle winners and get your prizes to you!

The Tampa Bay Disc Sports Club is one of Florida’s largest disc golf clubs. We have been operating locally in Tampa Bay for more than 20 years.
