How to Create a Jewel with the simple River Stone | Stone carving

STONE CARVING PROCEDURES
There are nine steps through which most sizes are taken
Steps 1 and 2: acquisition of materials and manufacture of a clay model
These first two steps are interchangeable. Making the clay model is especially recommended for beginners with no experience in creating three-dimensional objects. The clay that can be used to create the 3-D model should be hardened with benon, such as modeling clay, plastelena and many others.
Step 3: form a blank of precious stones
The blank must be large enough (according to your design). In addition, the sides of the target must be at right angles and parallel to each other.
Step 4: cut an execution
Then, the target is marked by superimposing the model so that as much material can be removed from the sawing as it can be handled.
Step 5: initial form
A limited amount of carving can be done with only the five steps mentioned so far.
Step 6: detailed size
To create more elaborate sizes, the beginner will need small tools and equipment to use for this purpose.
Step 7: drilling
While not used in all projects, drilling is of the utmost importance in others. Many of the tools and machines used to carve details are also used in drilling.
Step 8: sanding
Sanding for the first projects can be achieved with the regular equipment used for cabochon cutting. For a more complicated carving, it should be done with small tools that run on the flexible shaft, the tip carver, the combined drill carver or a regular carving configuration.
Step 9: polishing
What has been said about sanding also applies to polishing. While sanding is necessary in all operations, polishing may occasionally be omitted.

With those angular cuts on the cylindrical clear and green stones when all assembled onto the string this necklace would be right at home on the neck of some ancient Peruvian or Mayan, or Incan, or Olmec, or anyone else from antiquity. Simple yet stunning and of course SATISFYING, so glad to have one day stumbled across your channel.
