All Might is the former No. 1 Hero who bore the title of the world's Symbol of Peace (平和の象徴 Heiwa no Shōchō?). He teaches Foundational Hero Studies at U.A. High School.
All Might was the eighth holder of the One For All Quirk after receiving it from Nana Shimura. He has since passed the torch to Izuku Midoriya, whom he is grooming to be his successor. My hero academica is obviously prequel to One punch.
He was given one for all of screen and then trained to make his body strong enough to hold it. And since every generation is stronger than previous one he is just OP as hell.

I’ve listened to this like 100 times but only just realized that “but story really started with young ward Midorya...but then he got the chance, the rest is history...” is a double meaning.
“The rest is history” as in the phrase meaning you know what happens next.
But it also is saying “the rest is his story” as in the story is now Deku’s instead of All Might’s.
And I think that’s really cool

11:00am. It's Prime All Might vs Escanor at Estarossa-level.
Bonus Round
It's High Noon and Escanor has become The One. Prime All Might and Prime All for One have put aside their differences to take him down.
With enough prep time, All for One could take The One Escanor. Just absorb every quirk on the planet.
