      It's so nice when that happens. A really zoomy engie is great for capping random points across the map, as well as laying mines in areas

    One thing I found impressive, other than everything, was the fluidity of repair of the vehicles. They're right back in the fight. Incredibly smooth. Almost absent-mindedly. I'm a brand new player but I can appreciate how valuable that is. Well done

    Kind of weird that he went for double Pz II instead of second Puma or PzIV. I understand that he had few VP to spare but LT really can't withstand 45mm AT and KV-2. Hans even had a choice to equip more AT rifles and compensate with a T-34 for anti-infantry.

      Controlling the units more precise by not giving them a spot, but a lot of directions to change them, making sure all units are moving. Thats how you avoid them being idle or getting hit by a grenade cause you werent paying attention

      you can also hold shift and issue multiple commands which get excecuted in order. This way you can make your units run a curve instead of a straight line to avoid the enemy and surprise them for example.

      It's a force of habit that you develop after playing RTS games for a while. I dunno why but high levels players in almost all RTS games do it

    I'm fairly new so forgive me if this is an ignorant comment, but... Hans handily won every engagement and didn't lose a single unit. His opponent controlled fewer than half of the locations on the board at any given time and practically fed Hans his vehicles. Despite this, it seemed like the German player consistently outnumbered Hans with higher quality units and had an endless supply of medium tanks while Hans had to make a single T-70 be everywhere and do everything. Were Russians overcosted or underpowered at the time this was recorded?

      As you said they got higher quality units, if enemy loses a unit its a big loss but as a soviet you lose a unit it's not that big of a deal since units cheap and bit weaker so spamming is the most viable

      3. The opponent had okay control of fuel points
      4. No squad wipes until the Raketenwerfer and that satchel close to the end
      5. He didn't lose many vehicles. T-70 was the biggest loss this match

    It looks like you placed your first base building very carefully. Does it matter where base buildings are placed?

      snipers and penal battalions spawn at the building itself. so placing it at the edge of the base means they are closer to the battle and the flags. On some maps it may also serve to entirely or partially block a base entrance for vehicles. If you build it at the outer edge of the base sector you have some seconds to spare until the engineer gets there, so might as well take the time to place it well, since there isn't really anything else going on.

      Shock troops are perfect where they are now that you can't spam nades with them.
      There firepower is nuts up close, but you can do that with Sturms or Volks

      They cost tone of mp and can't do proper damage even up close, because they die so quickly. They need a health boost.

      @@eindhovhoven8070 it really depends on the map aswell, you won't take shocks on open maps because you'll have to charge frontally most of the times so that's when they start falling off like flies, you need to keep them in cover or behind corners to surprise the enemy and force them to retreat as they keep shooting at the enemy squad close range, the smoke grenade can be used offensively or defensively. But let's say against fallschimjeagers they perform kinda worse lategame, maybe they can use a health buff at vet3 or maybe a slight armor buff, cuz late game shocks are useless against lategame german vehicles and kinda suck against high vetted elite units

      MUHAMMED KH thing is Volks have a lot of HP and are very very accurate, I have no problem making two mp40 volks squads, backing them up with an opel and getting them both to 5 stars quickly. They just murder everything they see the. After the buff a few patches ago they are much scarier than ever before, you still don’t see them much because people still think they are shit (not true anymore) they honestly act a lot like commandos at 5 stars with mp40s

    Soviets may be brokenly OP BUT that OKW player was trash, he had NO racketenwerfers to counter your trucks that I seen, or even a panzerschrek, he blobbed against one of the best players in the game, he played a commander who isn’t all that strong overall. Not that the commander is bad but it has no early or midgame really. It’s a commander who only makes the mid to late game super good.

      Graff_Zitel what? USF is garbage, all they have is the Jackson, Shermans, ambulances, and the suppressive fire ability.
      That’s it. That’s all that’s stand out about the USF and it isn’t enough for me to want to use them....oh and the .50 cal pit that instantly pins down infantry

      The Wehrmacht certainly aren't that strong for 1v1's at least. Keep in mind their T4 is actually useless and a waste of resources in units not all that effective and take up too much pop cap.
