It is definitely a d15b vtec. They come with a 3 stage vtec and has 96kw. You have the best d15 engine. Get that vtec working, it will go nice

This brings back memories, my first car long long ago was a Singapore import civic vti with this exact engine. 3 stage vtec.It operates like this : At low rpm it will use 12 valves , in this mode the engine also runs a lean afr a green eco indicator will light up in the cluster.In the middle of the rpm band it will use 16 valves , after 5500 rpm it will use 16 valves on a high lift cam.Rev cutout is 7500 rpm.The cylinder head is amazingly complex, bear that in mind if you ever need to disassemble. Looking at your engine bay there is a few things missing. The intake manifold is incorrect, the d15b has an entirely different intake manifold and airbox design that incorporates an exhaust gas recirculation chamber and valve.The d15b will also have a crankspeed fluctuation sensor , a different exhaust manifold , and an aluminum sump.To get the vtec working try and source the ecu since it drives the vtec solenoids. To get it working close to factory 🏭 you will need the guage cluster with eco indicator and higher redline.2 the intake manifold with egr system.

Glad I could give some info , that crank sensor is needed by the ecu for the lean burn mode.The correct ecu would be the the p2j.Different part numbers for automatic or manual
