My sons owned this truck. Lasted about a year. Quick little beast! Didn’t live up to its claims. Esc ended shorting out on both after using in a light rain. Good for the $ 35.00 I paid for each.

I bought 4 of these and we play with them in the house and play tag with our kids. They are small enough that no one gets hurt ankles when they get tagged and quick enough that its super fun and challenging especially with multiple cars coming at you at the same time. One point worthy of noting: the servos on these are actually super quick and very responssive and the forward/reverse time is the quickest that I have found from any RC car smaller than a 1/18th scale! So kudos on the transmitters/reciever. This is hands down the best quality tiny RC car that have played with or seen.
Hi Kev, I just thought I’d say thanks for reigniting my passion for rc cars. I ran a Mardave Marauder back in the day, then dropped it for years. Then I bought a Helion Criterion, but got annoyed with the short run times, and put it in the cupboard for a few years. Then I got into your channel, and I upgraded the Criterion batteries to lipo and bingo! Satisfying run times at last! I’ve also just taken delivery of an Hbx Rampage...what a cracking little car! Keep up the good work, and stuff the haters. You’re a good guy. D.
Kev, theirs this brand that has no coverage on CZcams. It’s called Speed RC cars. Be interested in a review on that.
Looks like they are using the wltoys 144001 chassis with a new sct body probably the lexan one from lc racings 1:14th scale short course truck & some wheel stickers pretty much rather then changing the wheels heh.

I just did the ear plug mod today to my Arrma notorious...it works like a dream no more front wheel spin outs lol... thanks for the idea Kev U the man! I was going to weld the diff before I seen one of your videos of you doing this this an was alot easier. I'm sure this is a lot better too than if i would have welded it lol.

Hey Kevin. I want to spring for a second RC car. I was thinking a Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL. Trying to keep cost down. I looked at Arrma Kraton 4s, Traxxas, and Redcat. Without going back and rewatching your videos, what are your thoughts on the Rustler 4x4? Looking for something that isn't going to have stupid breakdowns as well. Thanks mate!

Instead of brake cleaner I use mass air flow sensor cleaner and it works faster then brake cleaner too

kev/everyone what turn/kv do you recommend on a 1 10 crawler. looking at racerstar 3670 1900kv 1/8 motor that im thinking will go on the carbonfiber scx10 remake.2/4 s or can push to 6 but not recommended. should hold with the metal components and have enough power for anything whats your guys thoughts. stay safe :)

@Cushty Crow there is no problem with going out if you stay within a 6 feet distance from others. The CDC doesn't say anything about not going out. They say if your sick , elderly or otherwise you should stay home; healthy people can go out. We are only delaying the inevitable. The answer to covid 19 is herd immunity.
