  • little by little I'm making progress on this build. It won't be long until this one's finished! I can't wait to put the turf in this rig. It's going to be different. Definitely a one of a kind! I hope you are enjoying this series. I know I am lol. Thanks for watching! #tincankiller

    Nice! It’s coming together. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

    Really like all the adjustments you made on that back deck. Tons of engine and component access. Can't wait to see what you come up with on that engine hood.

    Awsome!!! Can't wait to see the motor cover and how you tie it all together.

    It's coming together great. As a marine mechanic, I would definitely appreciate all of the access space you're creating, it's awesome. I think you have a great deal of talent and forethought, and I appreciate the explanation of what you're doing, how, and why. Keep up the good content, now, get back to work.

      That ain't no joke I'd love to meet some of the designers of the boats I ve worked on... But that's big manufacturers for ya lol

      @@carpturnalnailer just like most everything else...the designers are just that, they're not the techs working on the shit. There are a few bass boat companies out there that do great things for us such as Falcon, Ballistic, and Phoenix...and a few others, working in their craftsmanship is a breath of fresh air.

      Caymas dealer here. And they by far have the best lay out for pump access. And wiring is pretty sweet too. Still a fan of the ole Champion ride but oh removing them gas tanks to change a pump...

    It's coming together, and it's going to be AWESOME!!!! The deck layout around the motor turned out really nice, and I think those large hatches that will give plenty of access to the engine compartment. I really like the smooth slant on the front of the exhaust cover which will probably cut down on any wind noise that a sharper angle might create, it looks nice! Can't wait to see the next video! And Matt, keep up the great content and be safe!!! Enjoying every minute of this build!!!!

Eyes have been glued to the screen ... lol -- Honestly, 31mins and it seemed like maybe 10; that's good content right there!!!! : ) Modding that exhaust a bit would make it a bit easier I think -- but that's me. Thanks, brotha. Yes, you will be able to remove the motor if you have to. It will have enough clearance around the big hatch.

    Could I get a quote on an aluminum fuel tank? My factory tank has a few holes in it and I really want to replace it. It’s 40”x24”x6” (LxWxH). Thank you. I can’t find any shops local to me in Savannah Georgia that will do it🤦🏻‍♂️

    Shorten the radius at the muffler, or flex it entirely - bump on the deck ? Nah think that over more -

    • @TRICKEDTINS
      @TRICKEDTINS  Před rokem

      Unfortunately, there's not much I can do. I'm not thrilled about it myself but, There just is not enough clearance to run the muffler the way the customer wants it. The only option would be to raise the entire back deck and he does not want to do that either. I don't think it will be that big of a deal when it is all said and done.
