Ah shit it’s another new pedal!! The Empress HEAVY MENACE is a compact “next-step” from their Heavy Distortion pedal. It’s insanely versatile, features an incredible 3-band EQ, sweepable mids, and a foot switchable independent gate with a key input. If you are trying to shred, this droid is for you. If you are trying to sword fight I’d be careful, we haven’t seen Derek in a while and I think Aaron still has that baseball bat….

This is a hysterically funny way to hype what is, IMHO, the best true distortion pedal on the market right now. It’s so versatile in terms of gain options and EQ, has an amazingly small footprint and is easy to dial in. As an added benefit, Empress does something I wish every pedal manufacturer would do… right on the inner lid of the box the power requirements of the pedal are clearly marked. This is a huge hassle saver first those of us with pro boards who strive to get power just right. We get the voltage, the mA and pin negativity without having to hunt it down. Great move, Empress! Thanks so much!!!
