My wife & I are not great seafood lovers, but I'm more adventurous than she & this looks delicious. Since I usually purchase de-veined shrimp I may try this for myself & use some chicken stock with the white wine for a milder seafood taste while sticking pretty much to the recipe on the video. You've never steered me wrong before & I have no reason to believe this won't be great. By the way I've now incorporated anchovy paste into my pasta recipes & even my wife agrees the flavor is superb! Cheers.

I was searching your channel for something different rather than fish alone. This was just what I wanted. It so happened I had all the ingredients, but frozen and a seafood/fish stock I had made months ago. Leeks are a standard in my kitchen. So, even with frozen (I did have to go and buy frozen scallops...the only way we have them here) it was stupendous. Even fussy husband loved it. I promise, I will repeat this again but with all fresh, for tonights dinner...it was impressive. I served with crispy toasted rustic bread slices rubbed with garlic. Thanks agin, Joel for another 'hit'!

I love how you just MAKE stuff. No muss, no fuss. Chop a couple of leeks, dice a shallot, buy a couple of handfuls of shrimp/scallops, and a piece of fish. Ballpark the ingredients, casual confidence--it's just food after all! You make things look so easy and that anyone can say, "heck yeah, I can do this!" And you do it in such short, to-the-point videos. It's so unusual, refreshing, and really inspiring. Your channel is like the Nike of cooking: Just Do It!
