Funny enough R Kelly's fly song was my highschools song we would sing during our morning announcements. And also was included in several of our school plays
@@TheOnlyOneSpeedfreak to be fair this was in the 90s before any of us knew he was a sick perverted..... I am fairly certain that they would not have used it had they known the truth especially because it was a private Catholic school
Same thing in our school in the UK, we were singing Kelly too, whether it was I Believe I Can Fly, or World's Greatest, because of the gospel nature of the songs, they fit well back then.
I still appreciate some of R. Kelly's song and play them from time to time despite what my other friends say. I told them flat out that "I appreciate the song and voice, not the person himself" 😁🤟
They still ARE good songs. The singer is a p.o.S (capital S) but I can't help but still like two of his songs. I also still like "The Usual Suspects" despite Spacey being in it. I was listening to the Trashy Divorce of Robin Thicke and honestly it sounds like he failed more because his wife left him after blurred lines and Paula was a crying mess dedication to her. There's a movie coming out about Milli Vanilli. Bill Withers is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in the Songwriters' Hall of Fame. It's bogus to claim he disappeared.

I loved the connecting storyline from the music videos “Sorry for Party Rocking”, “Party Rock”, and “Champagne Showers” as a kid I mean, it was a weird freaking storyline from zombie shufflers to vampires defeated by “holy champagne”, but it was so much fun and incredibly well done
I’m old enough to remember Milli Vanilli when they were huge. I had their album on cassette tape and I played it over and over, Blame It On The Rain was my favourite. One of my friends ‘borrowed’ the tape and never gave it back. She denied for years that she took it, but then the scandal broke and I didn’t care so much anymore.
