Le Leclerc est reproduit magnifiquement, le vbci, le vab, le puma ( il me semble) jusqu'au FAMAS tout est très proche de la réalité.

oof indeed, my trust in Offworld (Squad devs) has been dwindling, because of
1 : spending money supporting BLM instead of hiring new devs and working on the game,
2 : accepting the investment from Tencent, a Chinese game company, and not doing a whole lot
2.5 : by not doing a whole lot i mean not bringing back the RKG-3 Anti-Tank grenade, either because it was buggy or "noooo muh-balance" (PR Insurgent standard riflemen literally had RKG-3 grenades)
3 : factions unlike in Project Reality, are balanced and equal which make no sense, in PR factions are intentionally unbalanced so players need to change tactics (PR Insurgents don't have any proper vehicles aside from civilian technicals, vans and motorbikes, and PR Militia have proper military vehicles like tanks and such),
3.5 not bothering to rework the Militia faction, as in my opinion, the Squad Militia feels like a copy and paste of Squad Insurgents but with slavic looks (as i said, PR Militia had more vehicles and had some special weapons like the PPSH-41 and such, but now the Squad Insurgents now have it and the Squad Militia don't have it)
4 : literally simplifying respawns for noobs aka FNGs (F*ng New Guy), like removing "dead dead" and such, so Squad is slowly going the same direction as Insurgency : Sandstorm, making the game simpler for more noobs because that means a bigger fanbase or community
so yeah...the Squad community is carrying Offworld and doing their jobs, oof indeed
i'm just gonna stick to Project Reality and Operation Harsh Doorstop
@@OperatorMax1993 I agree with your point on the devs not doing enough work (it's been getting better lastly though). But you should reconsider the rest of your arguments. I've been playing PR for years and honestly the balance in Squad factions is a nice touch. Having asymetrical teams requiring extensive adaptation to win only really works if you're playing with a full team of friends or very experienced players (which by now, is almost always the case in PR, but not in Squad). Most of the time, you'll just get steamrolled because randoms don't really know how to counter stronger factions. I'd rather have small differences like access to better optics on one side and multiple, cheaper fobs per radio on the other. I'd also rather have new players who keep coming in to build a larger, stronger community. Squad community is overall very welcoming to beginners and that's great, we were all beginners at some point. The more players the better.
At this point, PR is pretty much an entirely different game, which I also enjoy. Squad can exist in its own right, no need to get pissy because it doesn't match your expectations. As much as we all would enjoy a PR with better graphics, you simply can't remake years over years of content updates with 2022 graphics. You'll always find that the remake is lacking a lot of content over the original. Ultimately PR is a unique gem and should remain so. So is Squad.
So yeah, stick to PR or OHD if you want. But you should try Squad again, without trying to compare it to anything else. Mods are getting better, devs are finally shipping content updates, the community is alive and kicking. We'll be glad to play with PR vets, as we are playing with newcomers.
PS: they reintroduced the dead dead mechanic.

Great mod, it's amazing to see the new vehicles and content overall that they've added.
However there is one thing that had me shocked, figured it out whilst messing with the leclerc, it's super cool and is an awsome edition when it comes to tank gameplay..

@@BhH677 There are 3 fighting vehicules in the trailer : the Leclerc tank that is a tracked MBT armed with a 120mm cannon, the AMX-10RC that is a wheeled vehicule armed with a 105mm cannon and the VBCI that is a wheeled IFV armed with a 25mm autocannon

is the mod out yet, and if so what servers (includes french armor)
at the moment we've been playing on 10/07 militia in US. but i believe the should be more servers running the mod atm and more that will add it the coming weeks. Some things need fixing but mod is good fun! something different for once

cool trailer! but its a bit misleading title since its not OWI officially launching another faction.
I dont understand what is misleading about it. French faction is the name of the project. Is the official trailer because is made by the developers of set project (tactical collective). OWI or being an official Squad trailer isn't mentioned anywhere plus this isn't Squads main account. It clearly says French faction official launch trailer which is simply "official" (made by the developer)" launch trailer" then (Squad)-> the game that is developed on.
If it was developed by owi i can guarantee that Squad wouldn't be at the end and in brackets but in the very begginning since that is their project.

It's developed by a third party mod team, it hasn't been bought by OWI. CAF faction was bought and integrated into the game, which is why it is an official DLC. This has not been yet.

@@Nox-qo1ws yes! the IDF is in Project Reality (Squad but if it was a mod for Battlefield 2 since 2004 or 2005)
they have Tavor X95, IMI Galil (not the original though), M16A1 carbines and DMR versions (like Hamas)
Add both IDF's in general, both countries have fought terrorist groups
