The health of the river would be restored if they would just remove all of the dams and locks completely. The extreme drowning danger would also be removed. These low head dams are drowning machines.

Only locks 1 thru 4 operate now. The rest have a concrete bulkhead behind the upper part of the locks

Are their any concerns about spreading the Asian Carp problem?
I've seen them below lock 2. They are coming up every time the water gets over the dam.
