Brief biography of Rev. Rikum
Rev. Rikum was the first pioneer to bring revival among the Nagas in the year 1952. He was a powerful man of God and stood out for his honesty and truth. He had a strong conviction that he was going to heaven. He served as a Christian endeavour and Sunday school promoter from 1949-1950 in Impur. After accepting Christ as his saviour he pursued theological studies from Allahabad and returned back in the year 1952. He started preaching the gospel and was anointed by the Holy Spirit.

1951- 1952- studied at Allahabad Bible College
1953- G.TH (Graduate Theology) E.T.C, Jorhat
1953- Married to Lanukala Pongentsur
1966- Got licence from ABAM
1967- ordained
1949-1950- Ao CE & Sunday School Promoter, ABAM
1954-1966- Head Master, Impur Bible School
1967- 1970- Evangelist ABAM
1971-1975- ABAM Missionary to Nagaland
1976- 1985- President IEF
1986-1991- Executive Secretary ABAM
1992- 2005- Missionary at large Cum President IEF
Died on 2005, 16th December.
