- Xenon 2 played all the way through - yes, I used the invincibility cheat, but only to get through the game quicker for this video. I sped this up about 3x so it would fit on youtube, and still be enjoyable for the viewers. The original time it took for me to play through was 30:30.

Nice work!
I completed this game in my teens on the ST, imo one of the best games ever.
Loved this game, thanks for uploading :)
This sure made me and a colleague at work stand still for the 10 minutes it takes.
He played it in his Mega Drive. I played it in my old 286.
Hell, even went and got Xenon 1 for the amiga because of this game :D
Xenon 1 is still my fav :D
Played this a lot when i was a little kid. Thank you
brings back good memories :)
Xenon 2 on the Gameboy was really, really awsome, some really good memories of me being not NEARLY good enough to beat it, but me still relentlessly trying. The will power of childhood!
The ship you got at the end > ROFL! You're invincible with that, man!
love this tune =D
I got about 6 minutes in taking turns with my brother. Glad to see the end 20 years later. That PC took a hell of a finger bashing ;-)
when i was a kid i literally used to beat this game two or three times a day. i tried playing it recently, thinking id own the hell out of it being much older now... i couldnt get past stage 2 :D
Thats fucking it actually, I'm cracking open the game boy colour and getting Xenon on the go.
this game was ridiculously difficult, but a lot of fun :)
ahh....'286's' and the 'days before the pc could scroll'. quality game :)
I remember my brother and I spending HOURS... Days... WEEKS playing this game! We LOVED it! The keyboard, however didn't like being hammered... lol Try playing it on a modern keyboard and you'd go through it in about 5 minutes! They don't make them how they used to! (games and keyboards...)
This sound isn't from the PC version.
Around about 8:00 I used to die for no apparent reason. Something would just blow me up but I could never see what it was! Dont know where it was coming from. Any ideas?
cool
I remember completing this in my youth, then recently downloading it on PC and I couldn't even beat the 1st level! HA!
im proud to say i could get all the way to the tank on the gameboy (no cheats)
haha this has made my day. i could get to the point at 7.55 without too many problems but then I would explode for no reason. I could never see what hit me? Any ideas? Great game!
Anyone know where to get a proper DOS version of this game?
The one I have keeps crashing at the last stage, its annoying
there are some great emulation sites out there which can point you in the right direction ...
i still love my Atari STe emulator called STeEm for Atari games, but also love using a PC emulator called DosBox with a front-end called D-Fend Reloaded ...
all of the above names in a Google search (or even CZcams search) will give you some more ideas :)
Great video !
Thanks for your effort !
Was that the Atari ST version of Xenon 2 ?
this actually looks like the PC version with the Atari ST version music on top
I came here for the music. This PC version is the best. Love the rough sound. The Atari version is clean and weak sounding. Loved playing this game. "Gimme the cash!" The alien merchant was such a @$!#&.
👌😎👍
this music is actually from the Atari version ... the introduction music for the Atari (before entering the game), is actually a short LQ version of the original Bomb The Bass tune ... i've actually remixed a HQ version here: yourlisten.com/Teasy
even though i prefer the remix, also check out the Amiga version of the in-game music (check CZcams), which is interesting and quite different :)
He's got the cheat on where you selected VGA by pressing F9 or something, then pressing "I" in the game
I beat Xenon 2 without the cheat ONCE, after about a thousand tries...
* m * Infancia csmr :'3
9:53 what does the alien say in the sentense cant read very clear. "DONT FORGET TO ____ OFF YOUR SET..."
TURN :)
Got a ms-dos rom for this but it asks for disk 2 and i cant play the tank level. Where did this copy come from?
+MrNickeh That reminds me when I was a kid and played this game on PC equipped with a single side floppy disk reader... until the spider boss, and then I was asked to insert disk 2 :'(

Great game, with your hand to eye co-ordination, did you ever consider a career as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force?
YOu have a working link for this version?

Me i think on Atari st version, but "il y a Tres longtemps"
bitmap brothers RULE! Check my remix of this theme !!
WOW The PC Version wasn't as good as the Atari ST or Amiga versions then... I never saw the PC version before.
i cant help but it looks to me like easy difficulty. u kill enemies extremely fast (i know its speeded up)
Hi! =) With cheats it`s easy reach the end... ehehe
I can`t pass level 5, my ship destroy by itself...
chiter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
