sir for calculating 60 kg phosphorus from DAP you have written 100/42*60 but for calculating 132 kg urea from DAP you have written 18/100*132 why? 100 should be upon 18 or 42 should be upon 100 I'm not understanding this point
Here dap is majorly a phosphorus fertilizer So we first calculated its dose as We get 46 kg phosphorus from =100kg dap So we get 1 kg phosphorus from=100/46 For 60 kg phosphorus we have to use dap= 100/46 × 60 =132 kg approximately So for applying 60kg p2o5 we apply 132 kg dap As dap also supply some nitrogen we have to what amount of nitrogen that 132kg dap will give to our field and how much remaining amount of nitrogen we have to apply through urea . Here we have to seee nitrogen dose as the amount of dap is already given So 100 kg dap give =18 kg nitrogen 1 kg dap give nitrogen = 18/100 132kg dap give nitrogen =18/100× 132 =24kg nitrogen So by applying 132 kg dap we get 60 kg phosphorus and 24kg nitrogen And the rest 40-24 =16kg nitrogen form urea
