    The dog stops are a great bit of kit to deliver accuracy. I love mine.

    Hans - How do you keep the board square with only one stop?

    • @DavidStanton
      @DavidStanton Před 2 lety +3

      There are 2 dogs creating a virtual fence square to the guide rail that the board is pushed against closest to Hans. The dog stop is purely a set distance stop from the blade

    What is the name of the hinge that attaches to the track and allows it to pivot up and down

      Mike, as I said to John above, it's probably the festool hinge, there's an alternative here dashboardpws.com/products/guide-rail-brackets-set and a DIY alternative here czcams.com/video/jHDYCYwGyos/video.html

    I also want to know what is the hinge system. Is it also a TSO product?

    Would i be able to make small repeatable cuts with the same piece of wood? That means can i use these dogs on the other side of the guide rail? My MFT3 only has two available holes on that side. I hope this makes sense.

      You need to reference from the cut side.

    this didn't even begin to explain the versatility of these dog stops.

    Try as you might, you will never beat a table saw.

      the track saw really shines when cutting down 4 x 8 sheets.

      @@mikehiggins8673 I definitely agree with you. That’s all I use mine for. It’s slow as hell for anything else.

      A lot of people don't have the room for a table saw but it's great that you do.

      Different tools for different work. Table saw is great for accuracy, but it's a pain for breaking down sheet goods. Track saw so much better. I use to wrestle sheets on to my TS, not any more.
