IDAHO FALLS - A Celebration of Life is being held Saturday afternoon in honor of Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan.
Larry and Kay Woodcock, JJ’s grandparents, are hosting the memorial at the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls. Musical tributes will be performed and Larry Woodcock will speak at the service.
The Colonial Theater is located at 450 A Street. Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. Visitation hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by the Celebration of Life from 1 to 2 p.m.

I could listen to Larry talk about JJ all day. This was a beautiful memorial to Tylee and JJ. I appreciate it was shared with all of us.

In a way, I feel like he's taking care of everyone. JJ, Tylee and Tammy. The fact that his murder trial is coming last shows that he wants everyone taken care of before his justice takes place. He died trying to save the kids and even wanting to help Lori. Lori standing trial for his murder recently shows he is still caring for everyone before himself. In a way, he and Tylee were alike as she also cared for everyone before herself, including her own Mom. Beautiful souls, all four of them. His sister and family should be proud of him.

What a beautiful thing to do for these children! It may not be a beach in Hawaii, but nevertheless, the kids still loved you doing this for them. They would have loved an English beach too!

@@loribaker8339 aww thank you Lori...for some random reason Nate Eaton following these 2 silent adults down the road in Hawaii, asking where they're children were...came up in my yt suggestions....the parents response was so weird & the reporters genuiness of concern & care really got to me...I had to know where they were...& I've been following, reading & watching everything I possibly can ever since...I've waited for the day when there would be a memorial service. I wished I could of been there...But knowing Tylee loved the beach...it was the next best thing I could of done for them...I lit thier candles, took a wreath made from plants in my garden, said a prayer & visualised them playing & laughing on the beach in the warm sunshine...being children.. without a care in the world...loving life 💞🕯️🕯️🌞🌺🌻🌸🌼🏵️💮🌹🌷🥀💜💙💜💙🌈

This hits me different, my daughter is Jjs age and suffers with autism. I prayed for them when we thought they were missing and I pray for you now. 😢
I've never been emotionally attached to a trial (trials) the way I have with this case. I've shed many tears for Jj and Tylee. I think the media has done a phenomenal job (especially Nate), with making sure their names and faces remain a focal point to the extent where I can see my own children in them. I think we all can; and it makes processing their loss very real and palpable to total strangers such as myself.

I have an Autistic daughter as well, and I agree with you, it just hits differently.
Same also have an autistic daughter, I also live in chandler Arizona, and this has affected me for years I can’t watch anything still about him and Tylee without crying. Thank you for sharing them with us, your memories with us, and for letting us mourn and love them along with you. I wish I had a pawpaw like you growing up ❤
My daughter born in 2011, was also a preemie. 2 lb 4 Oz. She has autism and ADHD. I can't think about JJ and not have my heart break.
Larry is an angel among us. He loved JJ with every fiber of his being. I’m so glad JJ had such an amazing family to love him.

Poor Kay didn’t just lose JJ she lost her brother Charles as well. I loved Megan’s singing, such a beautiful, smart, talented young woman. I could listen to Larry’s stories about JJ all night, such a loving pawpaw. Thanks Nate for organising this wonderful service celebrating the lives of Tylee, JJ, Charles and of course Tammy. If JJ was wild at the end it’s only because those monsters cruelly deprived him of his sister, his medication, and his dog. So so sad.

He fought so hard just to be born, it’s so wrong.
Yep. They abused him. Murdered his father. Moved him away from everyone he every knew, get rid of his dog, killed his sister, took away his iPad which was his contact with Kay and Larry, deprived him of his medications… and that’s what we know of. Those would have been hard enough for a neurotypical child… but devastating for a child with autism. ABUSE. Then treating HIM like he was evil and possessed … I just can’t.
Absolutely, they purposely did that to him, it’s just so sick and horrific. Poor, sweet little boy. 😢
Wow, this is a much better way to remember them than all those court cases and interviews. Wherever they are, I hope they got to see this and are at peace. ❤

So glad that Kay and Larry finally got this. They needed this. They needed this….. He really honored those babies. I love how he honored Tylee too. Beautiful. This was wonderful. As heartbreaking and unnecessary..it was beautiful nonetheless. I hope Kay and Larry knew we were all there supporting them, even those of us hundreds and hundreds of miles away.

He and his wife, Wendy, have always been kind and gracious examples of unpretentious Christian love. How wonderful to see Larry as I watch from Michigan! Rest assured family that God will condemn them for their sins. God is a loving God but not blind to the sins of those that are so prideful they think they are more important than him. May peace be given by God to all of the family that has endured such huge amounts of pain. Tylee and JJ you are the purest of souls and I know that God called you home to him for a bigger purpose than I can understand. My heart hurts for larry and Kay but they truly are such wonderful grandparents and though they were lucky to have the children in their lives, the children were incredibly lucky to have them in theirs ..... these two children have touched the world! With love and happuness and unitment, this was beautiful and so nice to see the children in a different light. So happy and so loved........... who could have done what was done is just baffling to me.. rest in heaven sweet babies❤
So wonderful to see so many pictures of Tylee and JJ...not just the same 2-3 we've been staring at for the last 4 years. They were living full and beautiful lives that were tragically stolen when they had years and years still to live. They were so much more than what was done to them. RIP sweet little angels.
