Much as I hate sanding, the end result is always satisfying even if plastic dust has to be the stay put-eist dust out there. Impeccable work BTW , gloss black has to be the worst for not letting you hide sins!
I can ask my buddy but he bought the Lightning with the exterior as you see it. He might not know either. Oddly enough the truck color is a wrap! you might be seeing it again on the channel someday for an actual re-paint.
Hard to say, most body shops will replace a bumper cover vs. repair - it's cheaper most times. The Lightning bumper is an exception since it's hard to find these days. I don't keep up with current rates but my guess would be around $1500 to $2000 for the work I did. I work mostly on my own cars and only do this kind of repair for friends.

Someday I'm going to figure out how to de-static the pieces to get rid of that dust! And yep, black tells all.
