AS far as I can tell this is the original version of the pursuit, being the LT/UL It seems like the newer one's are bit different but I can't really tell. I found one of these and I'm thinking about picking it up, have you been satisfied with how it shoots and functions?
Have you fired it yet!? I just got one but really not sure what to load. Looking at .50 balls as they are inexpensive, but do I need a sleeve or can I just load the ball over the powder?? Share your experience please.
Blackhorn 209 is for use with 209 primers only. Caps and flintlocks will not light it off. Rifle and pistol primers also work well with it in cartridges.
Iv had mine since 2010 just sighted it in for the 2022 season been a good gun harvested a lot of nice deer with it !!!
Wish I could go back to 2013 just long enough to buy a bunch of that powder. It's priced like gold in 2022 IF you can even find it.

This gun is designed for conicals in a plastic sabot. Round ball wouldn't be much good with this rifling or charge.

if you. Ever get around to shooting it, you will find the rear sight won't stay in one place. Cheap plastic. Rest of gun is great.
