About the hole task from episode 1. Someone fully asked you, “What are you doing all the way down there?”, so you got someone to, without prompting, confirm that you had dug the hole all the way down. Full success in my books.
This is an excellent point. I hope BigB uses this comment as evidence should get taken to “court” over it.

Task idea: For the rest of the session, you must set your language to either "LOLCAT", "Pirate Speak" or "Shakespearean English". For at least 20 minutes, you must refer to items by their name in that language.
This, plus "when asked, claim you have always had your game set to this language"

I think what’s great about the hermits is that they didn’t even plan to act weird despite their tasks but they all fell into the roles so perfectly, they truly belong together

Suggestion to improve the base: More doors. Every kind of door. Everywhere. Make one of the tunnels go to a trapdoor in the ceiling. Make it an absolute maze.
itd be funny if it was like instead of almost every door leads to each other its like door a leads to door c leads to door g or something weird like that.

task idea: fully convince someone you have the same task they had last session
his tasks are weird because all other tasks include other people, but bigb's tasks are something he can do himself. He's been acting strange even though none of his tasks told him to do so. so maybe he has a longer lasting secret, that not even we can know?
His scrolls come up a different colour to everyone else I've seen, might be a pack thing but I love the idea of a bigger task!
I can't wait to learn more about all this...

completely optional suggestion lol but if you want to up the surreal/backrooms vibes it might be cool if you placed some of the doors like. higher up on the walls or just generally irregularly to make it seem like there are doors coming out of everywhere!! ur series has been so funny so far i can’t wait to see more :D
That new-ish stripped bamboo block looks quite similar to the default backrooms, but i dont know wether you guys have access to bamboo at all. Other similar looking blocks that would be used for the walls include: birch planks, yellow wool, yellow terracotta, yellow concrete powder, stripped birch log, and the sideways facing chiseled bookshelf. If you want thinner walls in some sections, the sandstone wall blocks are unfortunately the best way to go.
For the carpet on the floor, listed in no particular order, we have: Dirt Path, top of hay bale, orange/brown concrete powder (only if necessary), yellow concrete powder, yellow wool, and lastly, yellow carpet.
For the lights i *heavily* recommend the ochre froglight, however if that is unobtainable, any yellow colored light behind a birch trapdoor will work fine probably.
For the ceiling tiles, also in no particular order, there is: the bottom of a chiseled bookshelf, maybe packed mud, yellow terracotta, white terracotta maybe, and the bottom texture of a stripped oak/jungle/birch log, smooth/normal sandstone, polished granite is a bit of a stretch but maybe, light gray terracotta maybe, maybe dripstone however that is pushing it, and finally, though probably definitely unobtainable, brown mushroom block.
Also this should go without saying, but if you use, say, yellow concrete powder for the walls, dont also use it for the floors, i recommend picking the wall block first then choosing the other blocks based off of how they look against that wall.
One last thing, just as the commenter said, place things abnormally, walls that dont reach the ceiling, staircases to nothing, doors too high, etc. The backrooms isnt really known for having doors per say, but doorways would be fitting, and the lack of ability to leave doors open would increase likelihood of getting lost, as they cant just trace steps following their door trail. Iron doors with buttons or pressure plates do the same but take away from the backrooms feel.

I love how BigBs base is just a labyrinth of confusion. You should have a set of doors that open to a 3 by 3 pit. Lmao
an idea for the hotel-ish underground structure: you said you wanted multiple levels, and i think a fun way you could do that is use non-transparent trapdoors as floors/ceilings, making the multiple floors incredibly compact as you can make each one require only 2 blocks of height. This would make it niclely unsettling to be in, since the ceiling is unusually close to your head (you still wouldn't have to sneak tho)
oh you know people would just spleef the heck out of each other, though if the ceiling was that low they wouldn’t actually get hurt doing it
Actually making the floor out of trapdoors is a great way to put any visiting players on edge, regardless of what (if anything) is underneath them

Also, I think the idea of turning your base into a prison could be very cool! On the other hand, if you want instead to add a splash of colour to it and make it less uniform gray and depressing, maybe go steal some wool from other people's sheep (I think Etho at least has some) and make some banners to hang on the walls?

@@Teffi_tfI think she was roasting his block choice being primarily cobble. Back in 2011, there were few enough block choices that people had to make cobble part of their builds, but now there’s so many block choices for builds that there’s really no point to using cobble

you had nothing to apologize for - you dug the hole all the way down. there was nothing more to dig because there was a massive cavern at the bottom. that was all the way down. it never said bedrock.
I like the backrooms concept, just make the main room have more shape with some random walls and columns,. Or a long thin hallway with all the doors like in the Matrix, or the Shining
Other players thinking they understand what chaos is, then there's bigb just confusing the absolute dogwater out of everybody. I love the strategy this season, it's comedy gold

Because, like, it was nowhere near what I thought he had...
If you want to add more convoluted pathways, maybe you could make some entrances behind paintings? I don’t really see people using paintings anymore in their builds, and they would add more interest to the base while making it feel the same genre of unsettling as some early minecraft maps / bases
You could also just make one of your paintings lead directly into the side of the pit or lava as a penalty for anyone who decides to snoop around your base >:)
I think he followed the hole task correctly even if it wasn't the intentional way

I was curious about just that, I noticed his is red? The others are all light brown, right?
things I'd change up about/add to the BigB Rooms: More doors and the corridors are more interconnected and windier--think two people trying to mine in grids but they keep overlapping.
All identical doors sometimes randomly down a corridor.
Id keep the stone/cobble mashup but make sure there is no other block. Except possibly the floor BUT if so the Whole floor needs to be swapped out.
Keep it going and spreading outwards as much as possible. I want people mining and hiding to fall in occasionally and get lost down there.
Suggestion, get some Skeleton friends. Let them break their bows on your shield, name them, and let them wander the corridoors.

Also, you could maybe upgrade your corriDoor base by putting the doors at different depths? Like one here and then the next two blocks back, then one three blocks forward, so it looks more chaotic but somewhat more polished.
Or make the doors be different wood types to make it more colorful, I really like the concept! You could hide some secret rooms inside the halls and nobody would find them because they are so confusing
I love how you have had by far the least social tasks but you are still responsible for the funniest interactions on the server. You are the funniest dude ever

task idea: set a stopwatch stalk someone until they catch you. you can’t stalk the same person twice. task is successful once the time hits ten minutes. (time can definitely be changed but something like that would be funny)
I believe in your vision for the BigBckrooms! Love the vibe of the base. Maybe some of the rooms could loop upward before dipping back down to a different door?

Haha that makes me think of some sort of cartoon chase where the person being chased and the person chasing them keep disappearing away and then coming back out and looking for each other in the scene then running across the scene again when they see the other person
Especially with the secret keeper giving everyone potions!
Task Idea: Pretend a player doesn't exist for the entire session. Don't even acknowledge them.

You know what, when it comes to red chaos time, a terrifying corridor maze that only you can navigate could really come in handy! Some more branching paths, more doors, some iron doors, ladders going up and down, and in four or five sessions if you're getting hunted down all you'd need to do is crouch and you're all safe!
If you could lose hearts from burns, BigB would be Yellow Life after chatting with Lizzie

Big B I really actually love your base. When I want to build a little but need a break from my survival world I load a random creative world find a neat spot and just make whatever crazy unconventional idea comes to me for a starter base area. Your home speakes to my heart lol

I think you should make some of the rooms spooky - maybe make it a little dark, take advantage of those shriekers, and maybe even some spawn rooms? To which, you have a wolf egg right? Make it a spawner (Grian’s POV said it’s possible). You could get a whole wolf army! That, and I can imagine some hijinks and shenanigans in the backrooms.
