The best use of a Titan EVER | Yoshii (Odin) vs Kimo (Ra)

- This was one of the games for the ages. An absolute amazing display from both players surely showing what the top level of AoM really has in store for us as players keep reaching new highs.

Yoshi played extremely well, but this game shows by how much Norse need to outplay Ra to win and there was still moments like Kimo might have been able to comeback.
What are you saying? Norse is broken. You just need 200IQ+Buid&Keep Side Building Placement+Titan+Don´t Loose any small fights+ More TC and Keep your advantage every single second. About 30 m U will be just fine! 11
Is it Ra or is it Kimo? Kimo is a master of not dying. You can see it in his Norse gameplay as well.
If you look at it a bit differently, both played about even for the first part, maybe Kimo a bit better (Yoshii took a bit of a bad fight in Heroic) and Kimo was leading by a little into early Mythic. Yoshii primarily sat back building for Rag (but did get good damage on the osiris), and then with the Rag (ie clicking a button), his masses swarmed the map and gave him the advantage. Beyond that, while Yoshi's immediate titan usage was pretty decent (taking out top tc), the titan remained there too long and it turned into disaster. He took a bunch of free hits from Kimo's titan and lost the majority of his army, which put him behind heavily in the titan v titan war. 33 min to 36 min (YT time) was really really bad for Yoshi and put him into a huge titan v titan hole that he had to climb out of. Overall good play after, but that 3 minute span was disastrous. If Yoshi had played that part better, he'd have a win (controlling top town center) at that point and wouldn't have to outplay Kimo afterwards. Closely played game, GG!
@@ChronoJJ I am not doubting that Kimo is elite and everytime I face him I do something stupid and lose, but it is just my opinion that Kimo shouldn't be able to survive 25+min on a trade route that gives him 40 gold max. I knew Yoshi was going to win but the point I am making is that if Yoshi was to make a mistake, Kimo could comeback where the opposite is not true. I don't know if I am getting my point across. I am not saying it is impossible to win Ra, just no civ would survive with that trade.
@@noatlantis980 I agree Egyptian trade with empowerment is too strong, but this game isn't an example of that (I don't think he even empowered much). Now I see things differently than BoIt in this game, I watched a chunk of this game live, and my reactions were kinda opposite to his. But that's ok. I feel like between the two players, Yoshi's titan usage almost cost him the game. Kimo's almost won him the game (not that he used it overly great, just that Yoshi handed him a big titan advantage). Even after the initial titan disaster, Yoshi did not get much resource value with his titan. Kimo killed alot of human units with his, and a settlement, and despite a huge pop disadvantaged, even destroyed another with one catapult. And this is where Kimo's bad eco was able to keep up. For a good chunk of time, maybe 5+ minutes, Kimo barely lost any units. Yoshi was running his titan around, while trying to pathblock / kill Kimo's titan. This allowed Kimo to stock up on resources despite having a terrible economy. Additionally, during that time Yoshi made some pretty ineffective units (Jarl) and also had a good number more standing idly around. Despite having a 4 - 2 (1) advantage, he really wasn't playing with a pop advantage. But as soon as Kimo's titan went down and Yoshi was able to keep up consistent aggression, Kimo's economy got bankrupted almost immediately. The titan kept Kimo in the game. As soon as it went down, without Kimo being able to get to even TCs, it was over.
your casting is so good! im not an expert in this game but it was my childhood and it really feels exciting to watch your videos
A change I do hope they make is that incomplete building get destroyed if the Titan walks over it, it is soooo silly and frustrating that a whole Titan can not walk over it become some stakes of wood are down, maybe make it so it needs at least 30-50% completion of the building to path block, or something like that

A question for boit... Is it worth it to creat farms early to get advantage of the Ra rain...?
I would say it depends on the map and the strategy. Early farms are good on low hunt maps.
@@BoItTV So as norse or greek, if you try and push for some farms( like 20), rather than looking around for hunt.. You might actually be able to get to heroic age with your opponets rain... then you would have winter harvest afterwards and might be way in front the Ra player... It also helps that norse and greek depend on wood to build farms, rather than egyptians that needs gold... It is still a theory, but it might work...

My goodness bro you talk way to much in the video just sit back and watch here and there… I can’t even enjoy what’s going on because your moving the screen every 2 seconds just make it full screen with the mod so you don’t have to move it around so much.. and give a comment here and there not talk the whole time.. this isn’t a basketball match.. more like golf they don’t speak much… not a huge fan because of this good stuff though but just super annoying
