Excellent video. Your videos are the best Disney videos I have seen on you tube. And i have watched a ton ... Please keep doing them. They truly are Excellent thank you
My favorite trivia was when Disney was planning It's a Small World, he wanted to gild the facade with gold leaf. His financial advisers told him that that would be ludicrously expensive. so, in a baller move, when Disney was alone, he made the call to gild the spires and and walls.
I am a HUGE Disneyland fan! In fact I even married the former longest-serving Mouseketeer in the MMC three series. Used to collect the discarded ticket books left by tourists as a kid. Mom and I would pay the min entry price and ride free all day. Mowed lawns each week in summer so that on the weekend I could blow my fortune at Disneyland. And even as an adult, I was stationed in So Cal, so purchased the highest level annual passes. Went 23 times that year. LOVE your videos and the solid information you provide. Really, an excellent job. Oh..the Mouseketeer and I have since annulled, but for a minute, I had the best Disney keepsake ever!
When you are walking across the bridge through the castle into Fantasyland. If you turn around you will see a clock up on the ceiling hanging down. The clock is not moving. It is stopped at the time of Walt Disney's death.
That was a great video. Thanks so much I really enjoyed it.The first time I went to Disneyland I was two years old in 1966. Disneyland has made so HAPPY over the years with all the different friends and family I have gone with. I hope to live to 91 years old so I can be there for the 100th anniversary.
I really like your videos... the mix of personal adventure filming and not editing out all your mistakes on top of the abundance of fact and side knowledge is spot on wonderfully unique!!! Thank you
6:54 Love the lady listening in on ur fun fact, hilarious! Awesome video as usual! Thanks for sharing this fun af video, so far this is my favorite of ur videos ! 👍👍👍👌🏼😉✌🏼Like 296
8:34 The last time I went to Disneyland, these guys were playing their instruments on the carousel. It was a beautiful thing to behold while waiting in line for Peter Pan.
On my last visit my son was going to ride the Julie Andrews horse (Jingles, I think) but we couldn't because the band from Mary Poppins (the one in the video) ride it instead! It was a blast having them play the music for us.
I came to the comments especially to find this comment. It's called le pays des contes de fées - the land of fairy tales. You go into the Aladdin lion cave instead of the whale.
Thank you so so much for the tours and the cool trivia..I am a radio programmer and often while I am working, I watch these vids...feels like I've already traveled there....well done!!
Hey, Chris! I knew the backstory of the HM as i watched the imagineer documentary on D+. I did not know about the Candleman! Thank you for catching him on video! What a great tribute to a wonderfully creative person, Rolly Krump, RIP.
The three lion crest on Sleeping Beauty's Castle isn't Disney's crest, but is Richard the Lionheart's crest. JustinScarred talks about this myth in one of his videos.
I love your videos! Did you know that on top of the mushroom by the Alice and Wonderland attraction, there used to be a caterpillar. They took it down and replaced it with the book we see today. But right when you are coming down to the teapot scene you can see the caterpillars blue feet.
Sir you are very gifted at this. FANTASTIC information, always seems that all your videos include MORE than I've heard anywhere else before regarding Disneyland details, trivia and interesting facts. GREAT presentation just wonderful to watch and listen to. Please keep it up and thanks for doing these!
The Dumbo ride trivia is blowing my mind! I love your channel. I’ve learned a lot and happy to say some things I had already known. Can’t wait to visit Disney again. Thanks for the great content!
I have fallen in love with your videos!! They are so interesting and are very educational, me and my friend are going back to Disneyland and we've learned so much from your video!!!
I hadn't seen this video yet and definitely learned some things. Love your videos and being able to share tidbits of information with friends and family!
WHAT??? I thought I had seen most of your videos and here is an amazing one that slipped right on by. That is not acceptable!!! I love all those rides but didn't know a lot of that trivia. Thanks Chris.
Amazing video! I'm a huge Disneyland fan and I'm so interested in learning about my favorite theme park. Really great presentation on Fantasyland! I definitely learned some really fascinating information.
Really enjoy your channel. I've been at Disney van for many years and I've also worked at the park. I thought I knew most things. And you have taught me so much. Keep up the good work.
I thought I was a Disneyland expert until watching your videos! Love them and I am excited for my next trip to see all the new little treasures I have missed
Agreed with the description..there's a VERY good reason why, too, it's fantasti-ical..(even though a few of my favorite attractions aren;t even IN Fantasyland!)..
I remember my first time going to Disney Land, I live in the Midwest so I've been to Disney World a lot, but Disney Land was awesome! I loved everything about it!
You may have mentioned it in one of your videos but something a lot of people don't know is the firework show can be seen in front of It's a small world with the castle projections being shown on the small world building! Not as epic BUT not nearly as crowded!
So I love your videos. Thank You. I just wanted to correct you but the Alice in Wonderland ride is the only one in any Disney Park. Other parks have mazes (Paris and Shanghai). Also the Storybook Cruise can be found at Disneyland and Paris
Great video! I believe The castle is actually backwards because the model fell off the table as Walt was entering the room and Imaginaires put it on the table backwards but Walt actually liked it that way
I know this video was made 3 years ago but, I was surprised that he didn’t include that on the King Arthur Carousel when he was talking about the murals of Sleeping beauty. He didn’t include that there were murals of sleeping beauty and sleeping beauty has nothing to do with King Arthur which he included in his Disney Land full tour and trivia video!
I got stuck on it’s a small world in the middle of exiting the tunnel (right under the speaker) when it was almost closing time. Stuck for so long listening to small world on loop over and over and over and over and over. When I got home I swear the song was still playing my dreams
I’ve gone to Disneyland over 100 times but I don’t think I’ve ever been on Casey Jr. Or the Peter Pan ride but that’s probably going to change soon because I just got hired in Fantasy land :)
My Six Favorite Things at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California: It's a Small World (Attraction, 1966-Present), Disney Afternoon Avenue (Land of Disneyland Park, 1991-1992), Parade of the Stars (Parade, 2000-2005), Believe...There's Magic in the Stars (Fireworks Spectacular, 2000-2004), Disney Princess Fantasy Faire (Show, 2006-2012) and 90's Nite (Disneyland After Dark, 2019)
My 3 year old son was looking for you this past week, we had to tell him we just missed you. Have you ever noticed that the storybook whale opens and closes its eyes & sprays water out of its spout? Never knew that til the other day.
Ok, back in `72 my 3 brothers and I would spin the tea cups at DL as fast as possible and it was incredible. Also, I agree, Mr. Toads is amazing and Crazy.
Only one row of horses was white originally. These were the lead horses so the operator could count how many rotations it did so everyone could get the same ammount before it was computerised. If you want to ride on the lead horses it is the row that had walts fav, jingles.
When i was a kid, my dad used to work at disneyland as a janitor. My family probably got stuck on almost half of the rides by time my dad stopped working there, most notably, Small World. I'm pretty sure i got stuck on that ride longer than he did. I was on that ride for almost an hour and a half. What's even worse is that there was no in-show-exit!
Pinocchio is my favorite fantasy land ride. Ever since I was a kid. What scares me is there is always rumors that they are gonna replace it. I will be so sad if they ever do.
Please do a ride through of storybook land and point out all the stories and their secrets. My son and I ride and the narrator talks so fast our eyes can’t keep up.
In the Small World ride of this Anaheim Disneyland's Fantasyland, Colombia does not present in the South America section of the ride; the countries existing are: Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil.
In the South America room of Small World ride, Bolivia is represented by a boat on Lake Titicaca in the Andes Mountains scene, Brazil is the carnival dancers on Copacabana beach, Chile is the glacial stage with dancing penguins, Argentina is a man with a cowboy (gaucho) costume playing his guitar sitting on a donkey beneath the Andes Mountains scene, Peru is represented by a boy playing a flute and a llama.
Just wanted to let you know you need to research the crest on the castle and the Disney family crest! The crest on the castle is not the Disney family crest but if I remember right it is the crest for King Richard (don’t quite me on that as it has been awhile)
Provost Park Pass the Disney crest is on the park it is actually in one of the shops in fantasy land (the one that sells the swords and other sharp items). I worked for Disneyland back in 2004 and there was a lot of confusion about the crest because a lot of cast members believed it to be the Disney crest however they actually did a special training course on the crest on the castle and the Disney crest so cast members would inform guests correctly however because the rumors that the crest on the castles the Disney family crest still circulate people are still being miss informed daily. I just wish I could remember what family the crest actually belongs to
I'm really late to this video, but I'm wondering when you got stuck on Small World, as I did too, also for a half hour, and they shut the music off! This would have been...2010, or 2011?

Thank you again for such great videos
Randomland is good too
They really are!!! Things I never would’ve known and he has a really nice voice and way about him.❤️

Sea Soldier who was it? Keri Russell??
Nika - she was only on for 3 seasons...
When you are walking across the bridge through the castle into Fantasyland. If you turn around you will see a clock up on the ceiling hanging down. The clock is not moving. It is stopped at the time of Walt Disney's death.
Whoa. I didn’t know this. Now I have to go and check it out. 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@provostparkpass One of your very first videos..!

@TEE PERO ok?
I am a Disneyland Paris regular and i can tell you that there is a "Storybook Canal" attraction as well.
I went to Disneyland Resort twice and this place is truly magical and awesome! I hope , one day, you 'll see Disneyland Paris, a very gorgeous place!
I came to the comments especially to find this comment. It's called le pays des contes de fées - the land of fairy tales. You go into the Aladdin lion cave instead of the whale.
MagicFocus yeah but it doesn’t require someone to drive the boats
Thank you so so much for the tours and the cool trivia..I am a radio programmer and often while I am working, I watch these vids...feels like I've already traveled there....well done!!
Hey, Chris! I knew the backstory of the HM as i watched the imagineer documentary on D+. I did not know about the Candleman! Thank you for catching him on video! What a great tribute to a wonderfully creative person, Rolly Krump, RIP.

I thought I'd only learn a couple new things but I did not know about 90% of those things! Great video!!
Last remaining ticket booth you missed was the Matterhorn. The entrance has two windows to take tickets for each side.
Great job on the content
This was wonderful, I loved about Dumbo ride and the 60 white horses. Great video😎😍
I just started watching your videos as I am finally getting to Disneyland in November 2019! Just love them as you move quickly and you are darn funny!
I have fallen in love with your videos!! They are so interesting and are very educational, me and my friend are going back to Disneyland and we've learned so much from your video!!!

Awesome! Upbeat and fun, Learned s lot!
Really enjoy your channel. I've been at Disney van for many years and I've also worked at the park. I thought I knew most things. And you have taught me so much. Keep up the good work.
scratch and sniff Productions thank you so much. That is the kindest compliment I could ever get!! 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️🎉
this is an amazing overview!! Go bobsled! love it always!
I thought I was a Disneyland expert until watching your videos! Love them and I am excited for my next trip to see all the new little treasures I have missed
Our group always follows my lead - I am (errr, was) the expert. Thanks for the fun videos, I am quite enjoying them and your fun personality
Fantastic video. I learned so much and I’ve been going since before I could walk. Thank you! Casey Jr Train is my favorite ride.
It’s all settled then. Casey Jr Train ride date with Amanda 💗
I love so much Disney! I could go every weekend if I could! :) thanks for sharing this video!
Jhana Wind I grew up 30 miles from there. Went almost every year. But one time, I was there 2 days in a row. NOT as fun the second day...
Great video as always! Well done!
Just found your channel and subscribed! Love your channel so far! We love all things Disneyland! Fantastic video!
I think we became best friends too. We love vlogging at Disneyland as well with a smile on our faces. Lol :D
Thanks for the Disney inside info.
Love your ties. Pretty colors.
Agreed with the description..there's a VERY good reason why, too, it's fantasti-ical..(even though a few of my favorite attractions aren;t even IN Fantasyland!)..
Love your channel. You have a new subscriber!
Very cool video my friend, this was really fun. Two thumbs up!
My GF said, what about her? So now its 4 thumbs up. LOL. Keep up the good work. Love history of the park!
Back in 1976, I took the Small World ride. One and a half hours of waiting in line plus the ride and I never wanted to hear that song again!
Richard Bennett Just thinking about being stuck in the boat listening to that song, gives me chills! And not the good kind...
I didn’t know half of these!! Great work. What video is next week?!
I remember my first time going to Disney Land, I live in the Midwest so I've been to Disney World a lot, but Disney Land was awesome! I loved everything about it!
Thanks for this. Very informative. 👍🏼
Did you know that the clouds above London on Peter Pan ride are just plastic bags? TMYK!
Nice. Love that you dressed up for the camera. #EyeCandyChris
Absolutely a great video for Disney fanatics
I agree with Lisa excellent stuff.

Great video :)
I’ve gone to Disneyland over 100 times but I don’t think I’ve ever been on Casey Jr. Or the Peter Pan ride but that’s probably going to change soon because I just got hired in Fantasy land :)
Are you sure that’s the Disney family crest on the castle? So many different stories about it
I think it might the be their Coat of Arms - I remember hearing about it, I’ll try find the link
czcams.com/video/CtUnT3AulAw/video.html Watch from about the 10min mark. Interesting!
Watched & Liked 👍🏼👍🏼
Come to Disneyland on April 7th! I’ll be there!
Chris, in 1983 when Fantasyland reopened you could see both the Wicked Queen and the Wicked Witch.
Great video!

Fun fact about the carousel: Walt Disney’s favorite horse has 1 gold tooth.
its a small world after all! anyways, i love your vids your LAUREL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi. You didn't mention the holographic apple in Snow White's ride. The kids kept trying and some did borrow the apple and took it as a free souvenier.
love the video

You forgot to mention 'Jingles', the horse dedicated to Julie Andrews (Original Mary Poppins). The most decorated horse on the Carousel.
It actually means Toad’s ever absurd acceleration
Pinocchio is my favorite fantasy land ride. Ever since I was a kid. What scares me is there is always rumors that they are gonna replace it. I will be so sad if they ever do.
there is a story book ride in paris disneyland too but they are differnt !
did anyone else see the guy waving his hand on the matterhorn at 8:51
I love all rides it's good History
Oooooo.... those graphics though...
Hi I am your friends Steven parks son and these are very good games you should do a video where you show the best foods in Disneyland good job
Sorry I meant to say videos not games
If you get stuck in a middle of a ride, an employee will give you 1 free fast pass, at least I did.
Fantasyland, home of the magics.
I Really Dig You Channel
I'm five or six videos in.
Screw the drinking game. I'm having a square of chocolate everytime you say actually :P Keep it up!
I'll risk it xD
Jeshikamo Thanks a lot! Now I hear every time he says Actually.
LEARNING! I’M NEVER GOING BACK!
Super
Please do a ride through of storybook land and point out all the stories and their secrets. My son and I ride and the narrator talks so fast our eyes can’t keep up.
What about the pirate ship in fantasyland?
#ppppwashere ... we always love stopping into the ornament store in Fantasyland. Never seems to be overly crowded but so fun to walk around and look.
9:33 there is a version of the storybook land in paris
I find it a little funny how he didn't explain the lure and story of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride because the story in the ride is pretty dark.
My stepmom was one of the children who poured water into Small World. She represented Korea because she was from there.
yeeeeeee!!!!!
The leading horse is a tribute to the person who played the original Mary Poppins
In the Small World ride of this Anaheim Disneyland's Fantasyland, Colombia does not present in the South America section of the ride; the countries existing are: Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil.

I agree the Snow White ride does have an abrupt ending. The WDW version was better until the removed it.
8:46 can we still hang out with a catapilar like in the original book Alice and her adventures in wounderland?
Disneyland Pais has its own version of Storybook Canal.
And the unique thing in California Disneyland's Fantasyland is the Matterhorn Bobsleds mountain roller coaster ride.
Do you know that sometimes the band plays on the King Aurthurs carousel?
Matterhorn still has its ticket Botha!
I'm really late to this video, but I'm wondering when you got stuck on Small World, as I did too, also for a half hour, and they shut the music off! This would have been...2010, or 2011?
Ok one more, What about the spinning tea cups?
