I really like the expo florescent dry erase markers. They work great if the circles don’t need to stay on waiting for adjusters, but when they are coming right back off, they clean off very easily as you can imagine.

A helpful tip when marking all these dents is to count as you mark each dent. Then you can put the total amount on the car and not have to count after you circled all the dents.
Thanks a lot for sharing the video. It's really helpful. I have a question about the MTRX app. How do you add different size dents on the same panel. Let's say you add 100 dime size to the hood, and you want to add 25 quarter size to the hood, but there's no add on you can choose. How do you solve that problem? Thank you

This is real informative.
I switched to the Uni Posca markers instead of the auto writers. They don’t dry out and seem better to keep from scratching the paint from the dry tip.
would have been nice to include the estimate ? kind of the most important part of an estimate ? plus i hope you do not do free estimates seems that it would take a few hours to do ? then they just say thanks collect the insurance money and never get it repaired .

I am an electrician, and do the estimating for my company. It can take hours, sometimes days, and I do not charge.
I work in a pdr shed second year learning estimates are free. Only takes about 5 minutes. But yea when you have 30 cars a day coming in its annoying

Hey man love your videos. Can you please do a part 2 and go over how the markups work ? Double pannel, oversized ect. Also be careful with those markers, if the cars sit in the sun for to long all marked up it can etch the the clear coat. I have seen whole cars have to be wetsanded and buffed beacuse of those markers.

Because prices are based on many factors. Size, depth, location, type of vehicle, what needs to be taken apart, how many dents there are, etc. Prices can be anywhere between $300.00 to $10,000 and can only be priced after physically inspecting the vehicle.

David Jacobs why would you want to drive around with a bunch of dents on your vehicle it’s embarrassing...I was just hit by a bad hail storm and bigger dents and totally fucked up my f250 and it’s a lot worse than this car...take advantage of your insurance that’s why you pay for it l..because of shit like this.
Can’t circle dents - Can edit in lots of crummy music, I guess that does not take anytime at all. Can’t hear you talk but you took made sure the music was overbearing.
