Such a manipulative show. From running order to stagings and performances. Some songs were so obviously underper-performed and sabotaged in favor of Alcohol you, especially Cherry Red. What was that choreo from the dancers... lol.

Indeed, it was a qualitative year in our songs selection, but, as you pointed out up, the best and the most deserving ones are those two...I even agree with the marks, they are very objective and representative about the last night performance( imo 7/10 or around 6.5/7.5 for her other 3 songs, I hope she is going to record them on an album). I prefered Cherry Red, because gave an inedite feeling, seeing the contrast of what it was “expected”(Bella santiago on the stage-lol) and what they really actually provided....masterpiece! Sadly, not many of us are seeing the things in kind of same way, as we’re watching the negative vibe after this incredible live achievement, but they will return someday(this year, next years) and they will see what we are seeing us today.
Good Luck with Alcohol you, still some great jobs done there, and she is easily through the contest for a top (3,5 at least) position at the end of the Grand finale, or maybe even the winner spot is awaiting for her(who knows), making history for Romania and preparing for an Amazing 2021 ESC Cluj-Napoca in the best indoor arena of Romania and one of the best in the SE Europe by far: BT Arena (right next to the Cluj Arena-Untold😉) and in the coolest city in Romania, the birthplace of Roxen and the place she is coming from.🙂

Spell TV True. As a sidenote, it’s easy for the stage mixing engineers to make an artist sing out of tune. Simply lower the volume of the voice monitor on stage (the earbud) and voila! Out of tune performance made easy.

This is just so sad, I really liked this song so much. The idea of the capoeira dancers is good, but come on, the attitude she had was simply not ok, I am disappointed cause since her announcement I even started listening to her music (Ce ti canta dragostea).
It's a bit upsetting the fact that they made all the fans hyped about this song and for what?. If she already had in mind a song she wanted to perfom maybe she shouldn't had asked the people of her country to "decide".
The sad part is that the song that got chosen can get lost easily in the pile of ballads of this year.
She has talent I hope to see more of her music in the future but not like Alcohol You.

I’m so pissed this didn’t win. Alcohol you is so forgettable and was easily my least favourite. It’s so easy to tell no effort went into this performance and I’m just so annoyed at this wasted potential. Have fun in the semi finals, Romania

E clar că a vrut să saboteze piesa asta, având în vedere că era fan favorite și că ar fi putut să iasă pe locul 1 la voturi. Au schimbat tonalitatea ca să nu poată atinge notele înalte și să pară că nu o poate cânta. Comparați cu originalul. Dacă un artist are o zi proastă dpdv vocal se coboară tonalitatea cu un semiton sau un ton, în niciun caz nu se urcă.

I'm quite convinced the majority of the eurovision viewers are teenagers. Else they would realize that an artist is allowed to have preferences. Its clear that she didn't feel confortabile singing this song. And you should all admire her because she would rather go with the best song that suits her and sing it perfectly, than a song that doesn't represent her, which she would ruin on the live stage because she doesn't feel it.
Everyone talking about how she sabotaged the song on purpose, but if you would've paid attention her own songs, you would've known she is no INNA and this showed big time tonight.
I'm glad the song she liked made it through, at least now she can focus on making that performance as good as possible and doing it won't feel like a chore.

I don't buy that theory that she sabotaged her own song because she disliked it. Not exactly her style, maybe yes, but she did her best for what she had at the moment, there was a lot of pressure on her shoulders tonight. She also had a different attitude on stage for every song and I think she purposely went with a more serious attitude for Cherry Red. People are just bitter, I bet if we would've picked Cherry Red or any other song, the reactions would've been the same, you can't please everyone.
Eduard Dumitru No, the reaction would’ve been different, as people were hopeful that it will be a great show and that Roxen wouldn’t just stand still...there was all this hype and she was no.1 in the odds right before the national final. Iceland will soon get over us in the odds and we will fall out of the top 3 if Dotter wins Melodifestivalen.
And honestly, if she likes sabotaging herself, I am fine with people sabotaging her so that she doesn’t get a top 3 result.
Sorry, but this was just disgusting, a lack of respect for the viewers and very unprofessional!

This is what happens when people set up high expectations and think that things will go the way they see it.
