I'm about to make a probably even smaller pinball machine for my father and I'm quite glad this video exists because this was so far the most informative regarding budget builds.

Outstanding! I believe your table looks quite complete now, Arnold. You have to admit, it looks much better than a simple monitor sitting atop the end of your table. Well done! Also, thanks for the 'mention' at the beginning of the video. You know, I didn't really mind the joystick, and personally, I would probably leave the option of being able to slip it back on the table to use for regular Mame play. The only reason I commented about possibly moving the piece to the far end of the table is because that 6" space is usually already rendered on most tables. When combined with the 6" that builders physically build on their table, quite literally places the playing field nearly a full foot away from the player. I have noticed this on numerous 'build' videos I've watched, but frankly seems only to be significant on full-size tables. It doesn't seem to be as obvious on smaller builds, such as yours. At any rate, outstanding job my friend!

Hi mate yes it looks much better with the backglass box! There is still the option to swap with the joystick piece if required, but it looks better like this (there's also the USB port for a joystick). Agree too that most tables are rendered in-game to include the info board at the bottom, but a place to rest your hands is pretty necessary - most 'expensive' builds include some kind of polished or brushed steel surround which is wider at the bottom to accommodate hands. The 'mini' size does mean you're pretty much right over the screen on this though. Anyway I'm really glad of your input and ideas let me know if you have more! Cheers!

The gap in the speaker grills are begging for some LEDs. Maybe a diffuser and some 7 colour slow/fast

    Hi
    Great video
I have installed VP1 on my computer, but can only get the ACDC table to play
I want Addams family and Indianna Jones but can only get the table up, but it wont play.
Could you tell me how you get the tables to work, or direct me to a video which does this, or, even better, can you copy your VP folder and send it me, so I can see where things go, but can also play the tables, as I am not that clever with operating windows 10, which I run.
    Look forward to your reply

Hi Martin when you say VP1 do you mean VP10 from here: vpinball.com/ I don't have this installed on this set up but let me take a look at it.
