    at 4:40 - why did japan place the tile on the far right instead of placing it on the bottom right? That way they would have continued their road as well.

    Estaba leyendo las reglas en muchas partes, y veo que acá no ocupan la excepción de que si una ciudad es de dos piezas, que solo valga uno por pieza, ¿por que?

    Okay, new player here. Quite a few of these moves seem counter-intuitive to me. Riddle me this: why, at 2:57, would Greece not use that piece to close off Japan from joining it's large city?

      +Ebony Bowie There are several reasons. Japan could join the city on the other side. The city is locked. The city will never complete. And there are more reasons to place the tile on the site chosen by Greece.

    戦術等をしらない初心者なのですが、この手3:11はどのような意図で置いたのですか。
    Why did Greek player place tails there?

      I suppose he did not want to spend another meeple and thus hindered the construction of the rival. Just an idea

    На 69 ходу синий положил мипла на поле в надежде что следующим ходом ему выпадет монастырь с одной дорогой чтобы присоединить это поле к большому (для его выигрыша)?

      ProudTiger I am sorry but it was done with a simple digital presentation program, very laborious, image by image.

    How long did the actual game take? I've read that tournament rules limit each player to 15 minutes of play using a chess clock.

    Shouldn't the size 2 castle count as 2 points instead of 4?

    I'm surprised at some of the very amateur moves.

    Why did blue place a farmer on the chapel near the end? Surely a monk would have scored him/her 4 points? I know this wouldn't have won them the game just wanted to ask the tactics of the play.

      @carcassonnepiezadeinicio5405  Před 8 lety +1

      +Geoff Bushill His intention was to connect farms with a monastery with road. But this piece caught the other player.

    • @AmrishKelkar
      @AmrishKelkar Před 8 lety +5

      +Geoff Bushill Greece knows its losing the game, and must gamble with the said move. As the other commenter points out, they're hoping to connect farms using the monastery-with-road tile. But unfortunately, the other team picks up that tile. Given Greece's desperate situation, its a fair attempt at trying to win back the game that they know they're probably mostly losing.

      He actually had 33% chance to win it! After placing the farmer, 3 pieces are left.
