There is far more than 40 million kangaroos.
You have to remember Australia is close to the size of USA, we only have 24.6 million. America has over 300 million.
We live mostly on the coast. Very few people live inland in Australia. It’s too hot and dry.
Kangaroos are considered a pest due to how many they are. They jump in front of cars (insurance companies don’t enjoy that) we also can eat them (the tails are the best part for eating) and if you care about your pets you’ll feed them kangaroos mince. It’s VERY healthy and rich meat. My dog only eats it.
