What is the role of the upper neuron in the motor pathway: 1. Transfer impulse from motor cortex to spinal cord 2. Transfer impulse from spinal cord to motor cortex 3. Transfer impulse from spinal cord to muscle 4. Transfer impulse from muscle to spinal cord
I dont understand how if its not part of the cervical region it controls the limbs(also is it upper limbs only??),i mean dont roots coming from the cervical region innervate the shoulder and upper limbs?
Comes from cortex crosses through internal capsule into the brain stem where it synapses with the cranial nucleis, control CN 3 to 12 I think, and it also decussates.
