He was the first celebrity I cried over. Especially after hearing it was a heart failure which I was born with a heart disease. I was 13 when he passed away. Still watch Three's Company clips or episodes if I catch it on TV.

😆 when stern heard ritter died they were on air basically making fun of ritter’s career or lack-of career in howards eyes and then as the days went on proceeded to make fun of everyone pretending john ritter was some beloved celebrity 😆

We see a lot of comedy today that John Ritter did a long time ago. He was hilarious. He had the physical comedy, the facial expression and body language comedy... he was great.
John Ritter basically copied Jerry Lewis. Which is fine because both John and Jerry were naturally funny

The premise of the pilot is a gay man living with two women so the landlord Mr. Roper would allow it. That idea never expanded.

It was the background not the premise. Most episodes had nothing to do with that.

Life is very strange. Kaley Cuoco was on 8 Simple Rules. If John Ritter doesn't die, there is a good chance that she never does Big Bang Theory, never becomes a huge star and never makes enough money that she probably doesn't have to work another day in her life if she doesn't want to
I miss John. He had a terrific career, but I still think he was an underrated talent and could have done even more if he had been given more chances

I've noticed he did some tough roles to get out of jack tripper comedic territory .
Kaley had several roles between 8 Simple Rules which ended in 2005, and The Big Bang Theory in 2007, including 22 episodes of Charmed and 77 episodes voicing in Brandy (as Brandy) & Mr Whiskers.
My mom came to America from Ecuador and fell in love with 3s company. She just thought John was on the most amazing comedic actors ever. I had to break the news to her that he had passed and she was so sad. We would watch him on TV together. Miss ya John
I had the pleasure of meeting Jenilee Harrison earlier this year and when it was time to get a pic with her,I plain LOST IT. I started thinking about John Ritter and how much he made me laugh on Three's Company. Thankfully she was very understanding,gave me a big hug to help me calm down,and we visited for a few minutes talking about him and the show. John Ritter left a big mark on ALOT of people and he is sorely missed.

I worked at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, where Ritter died, at the time. His brother had the same condition and had it taken care of and was fine.
8 Simple Rules. Forever an underrated gem of a sitcom. I’d bring John back if I could.

My favorite movie of all-time is an obscure comedy from 1987 called Real Men starring James Belushi & John Ritter. I can quote the whole movie if you want, but...try not to make a big thing out of it.

i remember lovingggg david spade on this show as a kid. i thought he was the absolute best :'D
I honestly felt they had a chance with James Garner, I think he was a great addition, but David Spade, funny actor loved Just shoot me and Rules of Engagement, but it felt so out of place, the chemistry was not there and it made season 3 unwatchable especially when they added in the principal.
Tbh, John was irreplaceable. The show did their best. That dissatisfaction we feel in season 3 as an audience is us just wishing John didn't leave us so soon. I miss him too.
