দেড় দশক আগেও দেশের টাইলসের বাজার ছিল আমদানি নির্ভর। তবে সেই চিত্র বদলেছে। এখন দেশের টাইলসের বাজার প্রায় পুরোটাই নিয়ন্ত্রণ করছে দেশীয় প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো। শিল্প সংশ্লিষ্টরা জানান, দেশে টাইলসের বাজারের আকার প্রায় ১০ হাজার কোটি টাকার। যার সিংহভাগই দেশীয় উদ্যোক্তাদের দখলে।
