- We've been putting in some serious laps ahead of World champs in Andorra so I thought I'd give you a little run through of my Pivot cycles Phoenix prototype Dh bike! Fox suspension set up, Shimano brake angles pads and things like that!

Love the raw gussets and carbon. And the twin sprockets for clearance is killer.
You can tell its an insta360 camera by that terrible audio. They really need to fix that. Getting wind noise being held in the hand in a shed 😂

Ever thought about testing oval chain rings / cogs? It would be interesting because you could offset them at different points to see if they have any performance benefits. Kinda like a crankshaft in a engine. Cheers

How long do you use the same tires? Do you change them before every race? Same with the brake pads?
Some pros change them after about 3 runs during a race weekend. Others run a set per day and pretty much all will run a fresh set for quali and finals. Main reason isn't the tread wear, but the fact that they destroy the sidewall integrity with how much forces they put into them during a run. Neko Mulally talked about it in a video some time ago.
So yeah, it's safe to say they run through quite a few sets per race weekend.
Would love a set of those wheels, try finding Reynolds rims in the UK 😂

What pressure gauges and pumps does Barney use? I am not skilful or fast enough to notice 1 PSI in my fork. But between a track pump and pressure gauge they always read different.
Does the Barney change his pressure gauges every season or have a trusty?
Can we have a tool check for Barney’s travel case?

I Have use SAINT Exclusively and Have Been using them since they FIRST came out and just wanted to know YOUR opinion !!!! OH, And By the way , YOU ARE AWESOME !!! CANNOT wait for world champs !!!!
Has to do with feel and modulation difference over the saints, a lot of world cup guys run xtr or a mix of different brake and caliper.

@@mikegallagher2732 Mixing up levers and callipers is always interesting if you can afford it. For example, the classic ShiGura setup which I’ve found remarkable.
Reynolds rims are they 28 H or 32H rims? F and Rear or 32 hole front and rear….

Well, shimano didnt change anything on the Saints for 12 years. If he's happy with his XTR, why move away from what he knows and trusts as a professional racer?
Saints haven't changed, xtr has better modulation to power ratio.
