A.J. no matter how big and buff you become, you're dad will always be able to take you. Another great job sir.

I hate to say it but I think your set up is wrong. The light bar should be as high as possible to help eliminate shadows from the plow. Side lights to light up edges/ends of the plow would best be illuminated by front facing lights on outside mirrors. Back up lights are self explanatory .

I added a 42" curved light bar on the roof and 2 - 4" cube lights to the back for plowing and it works great. lots of light front and back.. Down on the bumper is not nearly as good.

Sure would like to get one. Made a 10% deposit and a loan app at the end of January. My loan app expired yesterday. Still no viable communication from dealer or factory.
The funny part is their advertisements indicates they plan to introduce an electric version this fall, even when they can't fill standing orders...

That Kimpex winch is awesome. Lately here in the Laurentian's the trails are ruddy and have lot of un groomed snow. When u machine slides off the trail, you are nose first and your front winch is only good to pull you in further, not out. I ride alone a lot. (I know...) That winch would save my @$$ big time if I get stuck. I've seen the gas powered honda winch's but they are too expensive and need gas. That one is perfect. Off to buy one now! Thx Dirt Trax!

Meh not sure about the location of the bar I mean if you are plowing in the dark the blowing snow would blind you with the bar on not to mention when the blade is all the way up won’t it block the light and just reflect off the back of the blade??

I have the same machine but I was told by the dealer that the stereo with the sub woofer is an option and would be 2500$ more. Considering the price of this Ranger I was disappointed

Can you share the link for the mounts? I really like the front light bar and would like to use those mounts.

  • @instrumentsoffuels7117

Good video, however why wouldn't I then just get a new toyota tacoma which has potencial for an even bigger plow, which is also allowed on the highway and which is also more reliable in every single way possible... Again good video, been a fan a few years now

Don’t think that was a good spot for the light bar, in front of the bumper. Now the light bar is the new front bumper, unless you move when you take the plow off.

Winching from a hitch is not safe from a truck not sure utv are safe. PS hitch is not rated for pull weight just togue weight.

Ha ha ha. Soft porn comment ads....or whatever you want to call them. Geez. Anyway, I had my light bar down low and found I got too much shadowing so I move my Rigid light pods to the roll bar...much better.

Or you could just quit tarding around and get a real plow. You know for the truck you ALREADY own.
