The most "Naruto-esque" ending we've gotten for a while. This gives straight Shippuden vibes. And after the loss of "you know who", it makes this ending so much more iconic.

As someone who just got into the Naruto universe 5-6 months back, this still hits hard, after finishing Naruto I started Boruto and this anime ending here denotes the real ENDING of the story of Konoha’s Hero and Seventh Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto. This wonderful boy’s journey started on the day when his parents sacrificed themselves and sealed Kurama into him. From being a mass of hatred to becoming a partner/friend of Naruto…things have come so far. Their journey with each other will remain legendary in this world. For me this is the end of the legend of Uzumaki Naruto, son of Minato and Kushina. It started with Kurama and it ended with him.
The thing I love most about boruto is his dream isn’t like Naruto’s he doesn’t care about being hokage at all, but his personality is much like Naruto’s
As a manga reader, I knew what I was going to go through while watching the anime. I knew what I was looking at when I refused to skip this outro at the end of all those episodes, up until That one. I... I was not prepared. Touché, anime lovers: when Who Are You started playing, and the animation was not there... When all the memories were brought up for the last time, instead... When everything just... Dissolved I cried for AN HOUR. AN HOUR. When my housemates asked me what happened, I CRIED AGAIN. I made my partner watch Naruto and he sobbed in my arms when Jirayia died. Eh, I am making him watch Boruto's episodes just before these ones... I wonder whether this song will hit him as hard 🦊
This ending hits differently. Very beautiful art style that was used here. I like how it goes to past starting with Minato/Kushina, younger Nartuo, and finally Boruto/Adult Naruto. It ends with Naruto mirror his dad before walking away from the Hokage Rock. It's a bit fitting though. I was still a kid when this show first aired in the West with the original series (Believe it!). Older fans like us grew up with Naruto in a sense and this ending encapsulates this journey perfectly.
This ending is a double edged sword, like it hits you right in the feels by showing minato and pregnant kushina, but then shows you hokage Naruto and how he finally achieved his dream, best boruto ending hands down

SPOILERS FOR ANIME ONLY: This is about Kurama's death and how even though he caused alot of suffering for Naruto he's been there his whole life, and is one of the only people who truly understands Naruto. And for Naruto to lose Kurama, the only semblance of his parents he had left, was a really tough for him. But he knows that Kurama did what he did to ensure Naruto's future. At least that's how I interpret this ending, instead of just a neat little tribute.
I wouldn't say he accepts that Kurama did what he had to do. But rather Naruto accepts that whether Kurama is here or not, he is still hokage, he still has children, and still has a village to watch over and protect. A lot of symbolism in this points to that. The dead tree panning to the sky, naruto lost in thought until boruto calls for him. His blank stare at the hokage faces after reaching for kurama who's no longer there. It gives more of a "life goes on" aesthetic. As sad and painful as Kurama's death is. Naruto still has a life to live

Just how much sacrifice and suffering do the world ask from Naruto. First Minato and Kushina, then Sasuke Gone, then Jiraya , then Neji and even he wasn't able to attend his lifelong Hookage Ceremony dream and now it's Kurama. This show isn't about Struggle, it's only meant for suffering and nothing else
I wasn't personally the biggest fan of the visuals of this ed but realizing what the visuals meant after kurumas death made me love it so much more. Beautiful ending. It represents the end of Naruto and Kurumas story.
