I'm getting the white version of the cooler but I'm using the exact same bequiet case and a gaming X trio GPU too so it's nice to get an idea of what my build will look like lol
Clearly, the narrative on this cooler is very much controlled by deepcool. The very few reviews found online tested the cooler at higher fans speeds/noise levels which isn't typical for any cooler. The testing should be done at tolerable noise levels. No one is going to run their cooler at 100% all the time. A noise-normalized chart should be added to this data to make it relevant.
We do run two load tests which put considerably different loads on the CPU. As these tests are consistent and controlled I think they give you a good idea of how loud the cooler will get in certain situations. The "cooler" is not run at 100% the fans are PWM and change speed depending on temperature of the CPU. Obviously with a less efficient cooler the fans will ramp up more and produce more noise. I feel most people are running their CPU fans as PWM and not a set speed. I also think testing this way is fair as if a cooler doesn't have an efficient design (heatsink) it needs more air (and typically more noise) to cool down your CPU...
@@thinkcomputers1 The fans on this cooler seem to run loud (and fast) at full loads. 54.9dBA is annoyingly loud. What kind of temps can we expect at a more tolerable noise level? 36dBA?
I'm looking for coolers, as I'm in the process of building a new pc. What strikes me as odd, is the fan placing. Doesn't the way it's built mean that the first fan sends the heat to the second? Doesn't that mean that the second heat sink gets more temperature?
It seems wrong. I use it on a 5900X, and it peaks at around 76C. I don't hear the fans ramp up on the cooler even when I do a little OC. Sadly I don't have a decibel meter to say exactly, but it is certainly pretty silent.
I am thinking to use the cooler for the asthetics but still not sure to either use this or noctua chromax nh-d15 My cpu is 5900x overclocked 4.8ghz Current cooler Arctic freezer ii 360 ( with lian Li unifans ) Pls guide
Dude, Arctic liquid freezer is already a Chart topping Aio. You wouldn't get that level of performance even from a Noctua Nh-d15. But if you're going for the heatsink aesthetics, go with noctua if you care about noise levels. Apparently this deepcool cooler seems to hit noctua level thermal performance for 30$ cheaper, but at higher noise levels.
You literally have one of the best performing AIOs in the market why would you cheap out of an AIR cooler when your AIO can cool way better than any air cooler available and most AIOs, Plus Arctic has anti-evaporating tubing and a fully sealed pump you AIO will last you a while maybe longer than some air coolers, plus warranty alone is 6 years I never saw anyone with an arctic go back to air very odd as like the comments said you will not get the same level of performance especially overclocked you will get worse temps. (FYI idk if you will see my comment but ARCTIC released the A-RGB version of the cooler that comes with the new MX-5 thermal paste)
Used it on a Ryzen 9 5900x @ stock frequency, 1.32v vCore and temps peaked at 76C, no matter what I threw at it. So yes, it most definitely can keep the 5600G. It is even way overkill for it! I recommend you go for an ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports. It costs around $40 with a single fan and $50 with two fans. It is enough for the 5600G. If you go for the single fan option, you will get clips included in the package so that you can add another fan later.
So, you compare a dual tower with a topflow cooler and use an i5 as a heat source. Results: marginal gains on cooling and higher noise than the TF. This review of yours is a joke and garbage. Bad methodology results in that I've learned nothing about the performance of the cooler.
We tested with what coolers we had on hand. If you look at one of our latest reviews a bunch of coolers are compared (thinkcomputers.org/silverstone-hydrogon-d120-argb-cpu-cooler-review/4/). Also does an i5 not get hot under load?

Would you use the DeepCool AK620 in your next build?
If the maximum CPU cooler height supported by the case is 160mm, do you think the ak620 would fit?
Can it fit in a p360a? Because the max is 160mm

@@anto_5923 Even at idle we measured higher fan noise that that
@@thinkcomputers1 Ok 48.8dBA on idle. Got it. But good thermal performance though.
I have this cooler, is amazing.

They work together to just pull the air away.
Two fans will lower the temperature around 1-2c / 33-35F usually vs just one fan in the front.
4:48 an idle noise level of 48.8dBA doesn't seem right to me. Are you sure the numbers are correct?

Is it good for i7 11700 (MSI B560 Tomahawk) with Power Limit removed ?
Yes
i am thinking of using it with i5 12600 kf what u think ?
I know this is an old video but does anyone know if you can use it with just the center fan?
I'm looking at putting in an open air case

How is this cooling for Ryzen 5 5600g?
I want to use the internal graphics (Vega 7) of this processor for the gaming
