Synopsis:Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life's ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition. Some quick facts about THAT group:
1. They were singing J-pop

That makes sense
At the time they made this movie, Taron Eagerton was up for the role as Elton John in Rocketman, but they needed to know if he could sing.
So they changed his song at the end to I'm Still Standing, and used it as his audition.
Naturally he killed it, and they picked him on the spot.
Taron singing âIâm Still Standing (Elton John)â got him on Elton Johns radar. Elton then did Kingsman 2 with Taron. After Kingsman 2, Elton decided to have Taron play him in Rocketman which is an AMAZING movie

Tori Kelly is just amazing. Not just a Christian, not just a singer, not just an actress, but she started it all as a humble CZcamsr. That girl is an American dream.
I highly recommend watching Rocketman. Taron's performance in this earned him the role and he played it to perfection

Seth McFarlenes pipes are mad crazyđ„đ
yeaaaah, seth macfarlane voices the mouse. he's actually classically trained and was trained by the same woman that trained frank sinatra. you can honestly tell how amazing he is even while playing a character. there are a lot of great musical numbers in family guy and american dad that he sung.
Sing 2 is so great! And Zootropolis is awesome!

I'm pretty sure that the porcupine is the actor who played Black Widow in the MCU (I can't remember her name right now lol) SO unless there's someone else that sounds exactly like her I'm pretty sure that you're right Seb, she did survive the fall

Rosita could probably have gotten a degree in engineering with THIS level of skill! She's so amazing, she might be my favorite character in both movies. I also appreciated that even though Gunter is a male pig and is her dance partner, there's no romantic tension or conflict (ahem, I'm looking at you, love triangles) caused by her friendship with him. Her husband becomes aware that she's been training for the performance finale all this time, and yet he likes Gunter enough to let him babysit all their kids in the short film. And Gunter cheers Rosita on for finally getting her husband's attention and re-igniting their spark at the end of the movie. This just goes to show that you CAN have a dance partner you've gotten really close with and still just be friends, it doesn't have to cause any problems or complications in your life, even if you have a partner/significant other.
Of course, there's nothing wrong with meeting your SO in a dance class. My sister met her boyfriend in salsa class, and they're still dating a year later. Meanwhile, I'm taking ballroom dance at school and there's no weirdness in the dance room. We're all just friends chilling and learning with each other. It's nice to make mistakes and just laugh about it without feeling like you're being laughed AT, y'know?

my sister used to be like Meena sometimes she kinda let go when she was singing but she didn't do it on purpose that was just bc that was her little world it's not show off people who love music like really love music sometimes they will start to sing with you and keep on going without realising that they by themself it happen..

This movie has a lot of great actors in it, and yes it was Seth as the mouse but one characters VA that some might not know is the giraffe that made it but was too tall was actually voiced by Wes Anderson

The SING movies are so amazing â€
The only hateful character in Sing is Mike. He literally robbed a monkey's money, he also cheated in a card game, he also said "Moon's got my money" in order to save himself. Even though he's a mouse on the outside, he's a true rat on the inside.
And thatâs exactly why he IS my favorite character

My mom doesn't really watch movies; the only one is "Gladiator", 'cause it's constantly on some channels here and my mom has a talent in finding it anywhere. One time, she got roped into going to the cinema with my 9yo cousin to see "Sing 2". A few days later she dragged me to the cinema to see it again. We watched the first part some time later (my mom invited my grandma over to watch it too), but she still says "Sing 2" was much better. You gotta see it too!
The second one is entirely different and better in some ways

I love the Sing Movies, and the show must go on. Even when Buster Moon has to resort to stealing water and electricity from his neighbors to keep the theater running. But that's showbiz. The Little Rascals, and even the Marx Brothers would have done similar things just to put on the show. The way they rebuild the stage from the wreckage is pretty heroic.
i watched the second one when it came to the cinemas without having seen this one (even tho i always wanted to watch it) afterwards went home and immediately watched the first one
