these places need infrastructure . i wonder how many western factories operate in this country.
I have hiked through the PNG jungles. Very hard to setup infrastructure there. There's nothing but jungle mountainous terrain and leech infested rivers. Not to mention the the fighting tribes and cannibals. My party and had to carry one of my camp buddies over 40km in wet mountain jungle conditions because there is no air rescue under the canopy.
That makes no difference. The businesses pay their taxes and their government decides what to do with it.
You think they can build "infrastructure" without the go-ahead of the gov?! The gov is responsible for this stuff and there is NO legal work-around. The gov decides what infrastructure is needed where, they issue specific permits and they put out a call for bids on the job. Where do you suggest "western factories" interject themselves in that political process?
