In this video, I play 116 Clique's Gospel music featuring Shai Linne. My goal is to play the track with no fills and keeping the groove constant through the tune. At the end of the video, I talk through a bit of how to play this style of hip hop drum beat.

I was just thinking, "I need another Mike Levitsky video!" And then here it is! Good stuff, brother! There will be times when I'm practicing a song and realize that I'm trying to do too much and am muddying up the song. So, I agree 100% that the groove is the most important thing. No one cares about the fancy fills if you can't hold the groove in the pocket!

Mike Levitsky Batch filming is the best way, in MHO. That way when something comes up and you’re not able to film that week you’ve already got something in the bag! We almost got behind and had to play catch up one week. The covers we film two at a time. The bonus videos are usually filmed the week we put them up.
The channel’s growing and we are super psyched! 100 still seems elusive lol but it’ll come! Appreciate you, brother!

So much yes! I think there tends to be too much emphasis on flash and not enough on being able to play tight, straight beats when needed. Great work brother!
